When I think of a mad hatter tea party - I think lots of colors and patterns - pastels

Purchase petite-fours at a local bakery, there should be lots of pastel colored candies and treats out right now for Easter

I would make finger sandwiches with lots of fresh herbs to get that really green look

and big baskets of strawberries with lots of clotted cream to dip them in

perhaps going to thrift shops, and flea markets and buying a mish-mash of colorful and old fashioned looking saucers, teacups, teapots, and platters in shades of pastel

It would be fun to include on the invite that all should wear a hat. If you could have the party outdoors in a garden setting I would decorate with potted flowers and topiary and again a mishmash of pastels - you could use several table cloths in varying pastel colors

What is a braidal shower?
Do you mean a bridal shower?
Your friend is incredibly stupid to put her shower into YOUR hands!
