FINGER FOODS! TRY SOME OF THE LIL COC* DOGGYS, GET SILVER SERVING TRAYS, NICE ONES. PUT OUT ON THEM, THE COC* DOGGYS WITH AMERICAN CHEESE CHUNKS, ON ANOTHET PLATTER, MAKE A GIANT SHRIMP PLATE, USE MED SIZE SHRIMPS, (LEAVE THE TAILS ON) AND FIND TASTY ROUND CRACKERS, "ritz" WILL DO FINE, IN NICE DISHES PUT CREAM CHEESE AND COCKTAIL SAUSE. ON ANOTHER PLATTER THE GOOD OL' SUMMER SAUSAGE AND CHEDAR CHUNKS, AGAIN WITH CRACKERS. ANOTHER PALTTER HAVE SOME COLD MONGOLIAN PORK CHINKS WITH NICE DISHES HAVING HOT MUSTURD, SWEET & SOUR SAUSE, AND SESIMI SEEDS. OTHER PLATTERS COULD HAVE FUN FOODS GUMMY BEARS AND WORMS, PUDDING CUPS, JELLO, THINGS LIKE THAT! FOR A FUN DESERT YOU COULD MAKE "WORMS IN DIRT" A MOUND OF PUDDING FILLED WITH GUMMY WORMS AND COVER THE MOUND WITH OREO COOKIE CRUMS! ITS ALOT OF FUN!
FOR THE BIG TIME FOOD "DINNER"(R U HAVING ONE)
JUST TO SAVE MONEY BUT IT STILL GES OVER WELL, HAVE FRENCH DIP AND FRIES, OR MASHED POTATOS AND BEEF, THINGS LIKE THAT WILL DO GREAT!

KEEP IT FORMAL NOT BY WHAT YOU SERVE BUT BY HOW YOU SERVE IT

YOU SHOULD MAKE BOOBOO PUNCH
Its is alcohol free and is always a huge hit!!!

Booboo Punch/Spanish Punch

serves 15-20

time to make 10 min 10 min prep

1 (8 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
3 liters sodapop 7-up
3 (48 ounce) bottles white grape juice
2 (46 ounce) cans pineapple juice
2 large oranges (to garnish)

Directions

1. Mix 1/2 can frozen orange juice concentrate with 1 can pineapple juice and 1 bottle white grape juice and 1 liter 7-up.
2. Cut oranges in large circles for garnish.
3. I mix the other 1/2 can frozen orange juice concentrate in a pitcher with the pineapple juice and white grape juice for when the punch bowl needs refilling.(then just add 7-up to it).
4. *I also make a mold of 2/3 part white grape juice and 1/3 part 7-up for the punch bowl freeze overnight and let the orange juice concentrate thaw in the refrigerator overnight.

LOTS OF STUFF!!!!!

You need to do things that look good, as well as taste good. For example:

Tostitios Scoops.....fill with taco beef and then grate cheese over them. Put them in the oven for 10 min at 300 to melt the cheese.

put stuff on crackers. You probably cant afford caviar, but it isnt that good, anyway, but put stuff on crackers that looks good. There are always things on the back of the box.

Also, jalepeno poppers are good.....

INGREDIENTS
12 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 (8 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon bacon bits
12 ounces jalapeno peppers, seeded and halved
1 cup milk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup dry bread crumbs
2 quarts oil for frying
DIRECTIONS
In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, Cheddar cheese and bacon bits. Spoon this mixture into the jalapeno pepper halves.
Put the milk and flour into two separate small bowls. Dip the stuffed jalapenos first into the milk then into the flour, making sure they are well coated with each. Allow the coated jalapenos to dry for about 10 minutes.
Dip the jalapenos in milk again and roll them through the breadcrumbs. Allow them to dry, then repeat to ensure the entire surface of the jalapeno is coated.
In a medium skillet, heat the oil to 365 degrees F ( 180 degrees C). Deep fry the coated jalapenos 2 to 3 minutes each, until golden brown. Remove and let drain on a paper towel.

Wtih that, you could even take some velveeta, and mix it with salsa in the microwave for dipping

Red Carpet implies "high class" for the evening. So, no pizza? Here are some thoughts:

1. Cold Food Stations:
Prawns with dip and lemon
Crab legs
crab salad with crackers
salmon with cream cheese, capers and crackers

2. Hot Food Stations:
Pasta alfredo
Lasagne (meat lovers)
Ham for slicing

3. Salad Stations:
Green salad with tomatos, green onion, cucumber, celery, carrots, feta, kidney beans, black olives with Ranch Dressing
Spinach salad with bacon, candied walnuts, goat cheese, mandarin oranges, French dressing
Pasta Salad with sundried tomatos, sliced olives, green onions, cubes of salami, red bell pepper, feta cheese, Berensteins Cheese Fantastico Dressing
Vege platter with Ranch Dressing
Fruit Platter with vanilla sour cream and brown sugar dipping sauce

4. Cheese Station:
Platters of Spanish Manchenga, Brie, Gouda, White Cheddar, Dill Havarti, Cambozola
Artisan bread, baguettes, water crackers
Cheese ball with crackers
Crisp seedless green and red grapes

5. Dips Station:
Hot Artichoke dip with blue corn tortilla chips
Chili Cream Cheese dip with tortilla chips
Clam dip with chips
Green onion dip with chips

6. Dessert Station:
Brownie bites
mini cheesecake bites
cookies
mini cupcakes
fresh fruit

To drink, have plenty of bottle water and soda on hand, but make a "mock" champagne punch:

1 can frozen lemonade
1 can frozen orange juice
1 can frozen punch
2 liters ginger ale
1 liter sparkling water

A nice touch is an ice ring or lots of floating lemon slices, and cherries

alot of stuff. it depends on how big ur party is. if its big, u shouldget variety of foods and serve them dinner and stuff. if its small, just hang out and stuff with chips and dip

mini quiches, bruschetta, mini eclairs, tortilla wrap ups, some and other delicate finger foods maybe even a fondue station with a variety of fruits and artisan breads to dip in chocolate or cheese. They have even been selling these a discount places like Costco or even target has them in their freezer section

You did not share key information with us.

1. "Huge" is a very vague term. About how many people are you planning on having?
2. Is this going to be catered or are you and the other planners making the food? And if you are making the food, does the venue have somewhere you can reheat?
3. Is there going to be a sit down dinner or just appetizers?

I would have buffet style in this order.Salad(huge),nacho chips, nacho cheese, chili, refried beans, bowls of sour cream, jalapenos, grated cheese, black olives, green olives, avocado dip, salsa, chopped onions, and pickle spears. Then put a large bowl of fruit, bowls of cool whip&strawberry yogurt.Next have trays of brownies, cookies, and cup cakes. At the very end have the salad dressings, crackers, rolls, and silver ware. That way they start off with the salad and can pile it high or low as they want. You will be catering to the hardy eaters and the ones that prefer lite meals. If you need a real big filler add a potato salad.Hope this helps.Remember they are teens.

Start with fresh fruit salad.Veggie platters with dip.Baked Zitti and meat balls.French bread.A big mixed green salad.Mixed soft drinks. And a sheet cake decorated for the occasion.
