Pizza or Hot Dog Party?
My daughter is turning 9 this year and i am having a party for her.
I was thinking of having a pizza party but she wants both. I am not going to make hot dogs and buy pizza too.
Which one would you choose if you were her age going to her party? Pizza or Hot dogs

I say pizza for two reasons: although not the healthiest, it is a little more healthful than hot dogs as it contains a little something from every food group. You definitely want to make sure to get a variety just to cover all bases (and you may actually want to get a few dogs just in case there is someone who CAN'T have pizza). But it's easy to please everybody with pizza...not to mention you won't have to worry about ketchup and mustard mishaps in your home or on their clothing.

since she wants both and it is her birthday. i would just do both. Don't you want to make her happy ?
Pizza. For sure. Plus it's less work for you, leftovers are great for breakfast and if you can find a place that sells them for $5 each, it's relatively inexpensive.
well if you want to be original chose hot dogs. i have never before heard of that kind of party. however everyone loves pizza.I'd choose pizza. or maybe just put hot dog on the pizza
i would say pizza, but there has to be different kinds,
but i would also say pizza because hot dogs are easier to choke on maybe not for that age but definitely for younger kids.
Well, pizza is less work. Hotdogs are pretty quick and easy, but if you really don't want to do both, I guess you're better off just buying pizza. That way there is a variety at least so kids can pick the toppings, etc.

Hot Dog Party as you can have some real special food on the side... probably cost as much or more that that Pizza You ***could*** order also.. ??? What do ya think?? is she good enough to spoil? forget the chips and potatoe salads & beans.. and buy the P-I-Z-Z-A ???

Either sounds like fun. But, I would probably pick pizza since it's a little easier prep wise. Since the pizza guy can just hand it to you. Or better yet have it at a pizza place so no clean up.

Thats a tough one. Pizza's are easy to make (cheaper to make than buy) Hot dogs are inexpensive too. I'd do both, but you dont have to have alot of hot dogs as most kids will stick with the pizza.
If I were going to choose I would do hot dogs. Everyone has pizza at a birthday party. You could make the hot dogs really fun if you buy the mini hot dogs. You could give each of the children a few of those plastic skewers and let them pick up their hotdogs and dip them in all types of dips. Ketchup, mustard (of course), but you could make a chili cheese dip, a regular cheese dip, a relish dip. You could also serve tater tots and let them dip these as well.
If you choose pizza, order the regulars, but order a small pizza just for your daughter with hot dogs on it. It sounds pretty nasty to me, but she would probably love it!

Why can't you do both, Pizza is as simple as picking up a phone and hotdogs are throwing them in some boiling water, set out plates and condiments (disposable) and clean up is a snap too......you sound lazy to me

You can do both without having to buy pizzas. Have your hot dogs and also make mini pizzas. Use english muffins and spread on pizza sauce, top with a few slices of pepperoni and sprinkle some moz cheese on them - then toast in the oven. Simple and she gets both!

I would do the hot dog party. You can get all different kinds of hot dogs and sausages, with different rolls. Than the kids can have tons of fun putting the condiments on, you could even have a best dressed hot dog contest! All you have to do is man the grille. Sounds like a lot of fun to me!
Pizza, All kids love pizza, its a child's favorite. Plus Hot dogs are too messy with the toppings and to big for them.
PIZZA!!! It's tastes better and you can have a variety of toppings to please everyone.

how many kids will be attending i say if u will have 20 kids buy 5 pizzas most pizza joints sell them for like 5 dollars or so or walmart has big ol pizza for sale an all u have to do is cook them an they can feed a family of 4 well get some punch an get two 12 pks of dogs put them on a pot of hot water a bag of chips an some paper plates and have at it some kids can not eat cheese or tomato sauce so you have a alternative
