What should I serve for "girls night in"?!

Question:

What should I serve for "girls night in"?

My boyfriend and a friend of mines husband are both out of town, so we are getting together at my house for dinner... so far I have a peppercorn pork tenderloin that I'll top with fresh mushrooms. All I need now is a good little appitizer and a side dish... maybe an easy dessert *I'll probably buy something*

Oh honey...if you're doing a girls night in, what would it be without a chocolate fondue for dessert?! Slice up some fresh fruit, cube up a pound cake, maybe have some pretzels on the side and dip away! I do a women's group every month and this was by far the best one served yet! hehe! (can't go wrong with chocolate!)

kielbasa. It can be multifaceted

do spinach/cheese dip for appetizer (easy and fast, but still very good)

I would do either a spinach artichoke dip or a veg. tray and then with your dinner I would do mashed potatos and mixed roasted vegetables and rolls with a salad and then for dessert I would probally do something lite maybe some fruit. Or get a pound cake and slice ethem into about 1 inch slices and buy some fresh starwberries and slice them up and put them over it and top with cool whip. Hope this helps

Cheese Cake, ice cream, for dessert.

Hmmm... all my girlfriends love shrimp. So whenever the come over I make sauteed garlic shrimp (which is basically garlic butter, shrimp, and a little olive oil sauteed in a pan and then hit with some parsley and a squirt of lemon juice before serving). For dessert... CHOCOLATE. Chocolate fondue is always a favourite. We dip strawberries, pineapple, melon, marshmallows, little cookies, and basically anything else we think would taste good with chocolate. If you don't have a fondue pot though, you could make some chocolate covered strawberries and serve it with some fresh whipped cream.

Appetizer- spinach artichoke dip... YUM!
Dessert- chocolate fondue! You could never go wrong.

Appitizer is simple, a varity cheese plate (good cheeses like gouda and swiss) and a varity cracker and warm cracker bread plate with a bowl of green olives.

A bruchetta for an appetizer and a Hawaiian salad for dessert?

Cold Soup

Tomatoe Juice
celery, onions, carrots. green peppers, and parsley all diced small... add spices to taste... whatever you like.... serve cold

SEW

Go to food network and type in Red Kidney Bean Dip. It sounds bad but it is very, very, good. It is made by Nigella... click on other recipes for that episode. It was based on a girls night in. It has a green fatoush salad, the kidney bean dip, and eggplant dip, and mini meatballs, with seasoned feta and toasted pita. I have made it several times and it is a HUGE hit!

fondue (i know fo sho i spelled it wrong, honey.) lots of fun. or fried mozarella cheese sticks. salad and soup are always great with bread sticks but not too much, dont fill up on them.

spainsh chesese dip peas
