Question: What (if anything) should I serve the adults at my sons 5th bday party!?
We are having it at the Little Gym and we are just serving cake!. (no pizza or anything) I was going to fill up a cooler with lots of drinks for everyone but should I get some snacks and stuff also!? (for the adults) What do you think!? It's at 2:30 in the afternoon!. also, the majority of the people coming are friends!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Why are so many people wanting you to serve peanuts and nuts!? So many children have peanut allergies nowadays, be careful before an accident happens!. Never have any type of nuts where small children will be gathering!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

2:30 is about 2 hours after lunch and 2 hours before dinner, which is perfect snack time!!!! I'm thinking that having just cake will leave your adult and children guests hungry and "wanting"!. Here are some ideas for easy snacks for your group:

1!. Vege platter with ranch dressing
2!. Fresh fruit with marshmallow cream dipping sauce
3!. Chips and dips
4!. Pretzels and peanut butter bites, trail mix, nuts
5!. Rice Krispie Treats (think about peanut butter and dipping them in chocolate!)
6!. Costco is great to purchase gigantic pizza's for under ten bucks!
7!. Cheese stixWww@FoodAQ@Com

you should get some snacks, like otter pops (for the kids) they're like these cheap popsicles that come in a plastic pouch!.!. I think they're fun!. For the adults, crackers and pretzels, maybe nuts!. My parents don't eat so much junk food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you could serve like trail mix or chexs mix!. a good idea for like a sweet on another birthday is a pie crust with caramel, nuts, and white and dark chocolate chips!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Having snacks sounds like a good idea, but if the adults have snacks, the kids will want them, also!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Different bags of chips, pretzels and peanuts!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
