I would totally recommend a slow cooker!. There isn't a certain brand that I'm quite familiar with as the best, however, I do know that depending on what you are looking for, they are quite reasonable!. I received my slow cooker as a gift, but I do know you can purchase them reasonable at Walmart!.

Definitely worth getting!. I love mine!. U have to prepare ingredients in advance which means u have 2 be organised and shop with a list but when you come home from work really tired its all there waiting 4 u!. I have a "rival crockpot" which cooks really fast, much faster than my old one which I can't remember which make it was but I used it so much it wore out! Shows how much I used it! Definately go for it!. U can use cheaper cuts of meat as u r cooking them slowly it is ok!. My advice go 4 it but be prepared 2 be organised about buying the right ingredients and getting them cooking! Go 4 it!. U can even put a whole joint or pork/beef or a whole chicken in it which works really great!. Good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I highly recommend them; they are definitely worth getting and you will love it!. I wouldn't recommend one brand in particular, but just make sure to get one where the stoneware part lifts out of the electric base!. That way you can put it in the dishwasher if you want to, and it is just so much easier to clean if it comes out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Slow cookers are great !! I have a Hamilton Beach, bought it at Wal-mart for around $40!. The best thing about it is that it has 3 different crocks that are removable!. (this is a feature that you definitely want!.) A 2 quart, 4 quart, and a 6 quart!. The 2 qt!. is perfect if your a single person or want to make a small appetizer, or you can invites some friends over and make almost a whole dinner in the 6 qt!.
