What does a party need?!

Question:

What does a party need?

I'm celebrating my 15th birthday at my cousins house because my house is a bit small :$ it would be my first birthdayparty! so I'm gonna invite lots of people..the problem is that I don't know what I should do at that party..games...drinks?! help?!!

Answers:
Fun people
Food
Something to drink
MUSIC playing as they arrive too... set the mode
Keep snacks in handy places so they can nibble at will.

If you could manage this as a cook out that would be great. choose the quietest ones and ask them to help grill... as the host it is up to you to make sure no one is standing alone.

Being a good host always makes the **next** party a success...

SEW- learn that lesson and ***party on***.. hahahhahaa

A party needs MEN!!! its needs entertainment and a whole lotta drinks i might be only 13 but i kno what i am talking bout!!!!

Food, drinks, music, fun!

Ist. make it a cookout. Buy 5 disposable cameras and have your friends pass it around during the party to see what pix they take. A dif perspictive. Create a money tree where your friends add cash to it instead of gifts. It`s totally acceptable PPL who suggest "drinking"....NO!

You need
1- music
2- things to do (games and such- my husband makes a homemade slip and slide using a long sheet of plastic that you can get at the hardware store. It can be long enough for several people and is always a hit!)
3- Food: you want finger foods like chips and dip, bite size vegetables; little sandwiches and some sweet snacks like cookies or you can do a chocolate fondue. This is rather inexpensive and people love it. You then just put all kinds of stuff around the chocolate (you dont have to have fondue pot a double boiler will do- your mom can help you with this) We put little pieces of pound cake, grapes, apples, pretzels and strawberries. Your friends will love it and it is very little work!
4- Do as much as possible before the party so you can HAVE FUN!!

plenty of food

1 a good music system and collection for dance
2 home food especially snacks and shakes
3 go get a guitar if any friend of yours knows how to play
4 make a home video of the party
5 get some material for 1 minute games to involve everybody

always have the tv and music on incase someone gets bored.

really good music, food , and cool people

Most important- snacks drinks and guests and music- don't sweat the small stuff. Chips are always good and sodas and punch are easy. Put different friends in charge of different things so you can have a good time. You can always have a dance off or do team charades- is that too dorky???

birthdaycake+candles, food+drink, music+ dancing, girls+ boys.

I agree with everything people have said in the above comments. I would also suggest a game where the kids are intermingling. It's so much fun to meet new people. You can make up games too. Google it. Games for kids. Get some fun music or sing karoake!

Is this a daytime party or night time? We love to play Jenga. Make sure u have alot of disposable camera's so your friends can get the pictures you'll want to keep 4 your memories. Make sure u decorate the room up, makes it more festive and put's everyone in the mood. I'd keep it simple, something on the grill, like hot dog's, hamburger's and have plenty of finger foods. Most of all, ENJOY yourself, and BTW, HAPPY BIRTHDAY :)
