Teen 18 bday dinner party?!

Question:

Teen 18 bday dinner party?

For my friends 18th bday, my friend and I planned for her to go to the spa. After we'd pick her up and have her get dressed up. At my house i'd set up a formal dinner party with friends where everyone is dressed up. I thought that everyone should bring a pic of themselves with her. what is something else i could do after eating dinner other then like a movie?

Answers:
You can have your dinner party be a "murder mystery game". They're really easy to set up and they're a lot of fun. Each person gets a role and a script to read, which takes you through a murder mystery where you try to solve what happens.

STRIPPERS BABY!!!!! LOL JUST KIDDIN!!!!

nothing.

Give her a condom ..she needs it.

Go around and ask what everyones favorite memory with (the special b-day girl) was!

ummm get her a new caar

a pillow fight???

well my lil cousin just turned 18, so i know shes goin to have a big party, with dancing i think they might even be able to go to a local club for people 18 and under im not sure though, u already know wat she likes so ur half way there. im sure anything u do for ur friend she will be more than extactic about it. u only turn 18 once so ask ur other friends wat else u should do. goodluck!!

You should give her a long happy birthday kiss.

Since it's after dinner...maybe you should try an ice cream bar with chocolate sauce peanuts ect. or something for dessert? There's always board games and DDR or Karakoe (spl?). And since you can drive...TP!

Sounds like you are really planning a special night! If you don't mind spending some extra money, its always fun to rent a limo and go out on the town with your friends.. Or maybe have everyone meet up at a cute little coffee shop to open presents and chat.. But everything you've already planned sounds really special already. She's lucky to have a friend like you.

There are lots of fun board games out there.

Memories! Look through a old photo book, play those old elemntary games to bring back the memories and to create more! Like "light as a feather" or "Truth and Dare" Have a good time! I hope I helped!

The 18Th birthday party is more important than the 16th bday party or even the 13th bday party its the last party you'll really have as a teen the you go to collage and get a job. So it should have the best food and have music and all that stuff.

bowling, makeovers, story telling, slumber party, road rally (these are soo fun and you can base it off of stuff about the b'day girl), the penny game ( for example: you start off with a penny and go to a neighbor's home and say what will you give me for this penny, they give you a cookie, you go to the next house and they give you a box of cereal for the cookie, next home gives you a pair of socks for the cereal etc....)

i played the penny game back in high school and sometimes teams would wind up with money, playsets, stereos, tvs, paintings, furniture etc....---the best endign item by vote wins :)

Have every guest write down a bunch of memories. Remember when . . .

You guys can read them and reminisce about the past. You will laugh and cry and have a great time!

Then you can play board games!!! Make ice cream sundaes/milk shakes and watch a movie!

Have fun!!!

Set up a ritzy club type scenario. Dancing, music, maybe some eye candy films on the tv. You can get stobe lights and everything to make it really seem like a club.

Chocolate fountain. Everyone will love you, I know I would.

You could play a fun game like the present game where you get a little fun present for each person coming. Have two card decks hand out cards in one of the decks. Draw cards from the other deck and each time you draw someone's card they pick a present. When all your cards are gone you are out. Then people who still have cards can steal you presents. When you are out of cards and only have one present, you are done and no one can steal your present. The presents should be fun presents that make everyone laugh to make it a fun game.

18 is pretty special. Try to find music she listened to while growing up. Do a little"this is your life" program with stories people know about some of her achievements, what was going on in the news at certain ages of her life(not too long) and have someone there to make predictions of her future. If this does not sound like something she would like, just have a really nice dance with her favorite music.

You could have each person tell how they came to know your friend (how/when/where they met her).

What a good friend to have? I turn 43 in Sep....want to throw me a party? Kidding! LOL

Board games like taboo are lots of fun. The murder mystery idea is good but you need at least 12-15 people to make it good. There's also karoke. For dessert you could do chocolate fondue (you rent the sets). You guys can go out too unless you wanted to stay in. You could do a scavenger hunt.

After the entree is finished with it is a good time to sit and laugh and talk about life the universe and everything before serving a beautiful dessert.

After dessert is finished It depends on if you want the sophisticated feel to continue or if you want a more whimsical feel.

For sophistication I would suggest staying in and perhaps playing cards, further discussions, ect.

For whimsical play childhood games or even do a craft. Everyone loves sparkles and glue (though do be careful if you are all dressed up). Or while all dressed up you could go and find a local play ground and play which is always very amusing.

When I turned 18, we took a limo out on the town, me and 4 friends, and went to Hard rock cafe for dinner and then went to a french restaurant for dessert!! I had the best time ever and not because of what we did but because I was with my friends, so what ever you come up with should be just fine because she gets to spend it with people who care about her!!

It all seems like of upscale and formal. Keep it that way. Go see a play, ballet or to the opera. Or for something more interactive go take a ball room dance lesson!
