How can I make sure my party is not boring at all?!

Question:

How can I make sure my party is not boring at all?

I'm having a 17th party and I just want some tips on how to make sure the party is a hit not a dud.

Answers:
great games, great people with great personalities (no boring people) - a fabulous dee jay and great food. Another big hit are party favors or partying gifts. Think of something fun and popular that you can give each person as a way of saying thanks for coming... or also as a way of letting them remember the fun night they had.

Hire a d.j. with great music and catering for great food. And what is better than eating and burning off the calories by hitting the dance floor. Good Luck

Good music, great food, alot of group games, Pictionary is alot of fun with groups, maybe make it a theme party? Alcohol and drugs will ruin a party...keep it clean and have fun!!!

DON'T invite sex-crazy people, because they SUCK the LIFE out of the party. DO invite oddballs, because they know how to bring LIFE to the party.

AS the hostess you should make sure there are no *silent* people off by themselves.. If you make sure everyone is talking and has someone to talk to... Everyone will enjoy themselves with no complaints... YOU don't want that one ***wall flower*** to start telling others your party was no fun... lol

Good Luck and it will all turn out just fine.

Make sure that you circulate and talk to everybody. And try to break up the groups that form........ teen party and parties of 50 year olds as it is all the same.

The guy who is all so self confident gathers a group in one area and "holds court" so to speak. Others who cannot get a word in edgewise form another group elsewhere. The other people usually have much more to say and are able to have a spirited conversation.

So the local fun or amusing guy you don't invite.
