Best 20th Birthday Party?!

Question:

Best 20th Birthday Party?

My 20th birthday is coming up on April 28th. I am wanting to throw a birthday party, but I have no idea what kind of party to throw. I don't want anything casual. I was thinking of something where everyone dresses up but I have no idea what to do... What do you think?

Answers:
If you want dress up make it a "mascaraed" party. It will be lots of fun. You can pick the theme of the party. 1920's, formal, Victorian, etc.. You get the idea.

Happy Birthday

Evite has some great suggestions for throwing a bithday party http://www.evite.com/app/cms/ideas/birth...

how much is ur budget? i suggest since its summer time... go for a swimming party (hawaiian theme). you can celebrate it on a clubhouse or beach.... but i suggest a pool party would be appropriate coz its easier to decorate it wd ur theme. u could hire a caterer (i have lists of caterers that would suit ur budget if u like). u could also hire a decorator or if d budget is short... have ur friends help u wd d decorating... coz in my case when i had my son's 1st bday... d decorator charged me 20t, which i think is too much for those who wants to have a simple but elegant party.

The best costume type of party that i have been to was a no pants party i'm not kidding. Then again we were drinking too but it was a blast. so i say have a party where every one comes in a t shirt and there underwear and a pair of shoes it sets a funny atmosphere and makes it alot of fun

Happy Birthday...
As for your question.. I would suggest some type of costume party based upon a favorite activity or theme, perhaps a book that you enjoyed, a movie, a TV show or something along that line.

I love throwing big, themed parties! One of the best ones was my little kids slumber party where everyone had to dress up in pajamas and we ate fairy bread and frog in a pond. We played party games and everyone went home with a lolly bag! It can be tweaked for a more adult audience or kept as a kiddie theme.

Why not fancy dress with a theme?? Like maybe the future. Make it interesting and tell them nothing that has been in a TV show--that'll eliminate all the Klingon's, Oris, etc.
