Where in Long Beach, CA would be a great to throw a party of about 80 people?
Surrounding areas would also be cool like the OC or Los Angeles. I am trying to set up a social for a college Party.

depends on what vibe you want to have goin on. if its formal, try the lakewood country club....i used to cook there and its a great place to have banquets and things.
for more of a bar feel, id say the yard house down on shoreline....they have over a hundred beers on tap.
or if youre feeling extra fancy, you can go to la opera...its right downtown, but it is really spendy. i dont know if theyd be open to 80 people though.
