Have any good ideas for a birthday/retirement party for my mom?
i've never thrown a party in my life please help with ideas. food, decorations,dress etc.

You can decorate with pictures of your Mom at work from every year she has worked and get her friends from all her jobs to help out.
Food cold buffet...finger foods, small sandwiches, small pizza, pasta salad, fruit punch, veggie tray
Theme parties are always nice is there a place she'd like to travel. What are her hobbies these can make great themes. Queen for a day is always a hit.
