Suggestions for a 17 y/o girl's birthday cake theme?
She's pretty tomboyish, more interested in computers and anime then anything. Ideas?

Cake theme or bday party theme?...If u guys are planning to have the cake proffesionally made at a bakery I would suggest to have it -----computer shaped...and to get some anime...characters...paper plates, cups. napkins, hang ups to put up on walls..u can usually get these items...at party supply stores for kids....it would be cute to also have the caked...with anime pictures....drawed on the top...u can have caked...custom made--at bakerys...they can .....usually have these made from a pic...how about downloading the pics...from the net..of her fave anime . characters..and have the cake...specially made like that....if u do not get the party supplies at the store make sure to ...but colorful plates....cups..etc.., and u can...add a cute ...detail...by buying candy bags...with her anime character...and ...fill these bags with gum, candy..., a significant anime toy....fancy chocolate....to give out to each guest....if u do not want to ...give out ...kids candy bags...u can place....a big colorgul cup...filled with all these ..on each guests'.....seat...or around the house.....on tables and have each guest take one home as a thank you for coming lil detail......just a few ideas....

how about a giant decorated cookie? they are fun, and easy to eat - just break off chunks!
spread cookie batter to fill a pizza pan, or a rectangle cookie sheet, bake, drizzle with melted choclate, dollops of whipped or ice cream, mini-marshmallows, choc chips, anything she loves! have fun.
I know this is a strange idea, but seeing as I was a lot like her at the same age--and still am a lot like her at my current age, I'd suggest a costume party called a "cosplay party" in which the guests dress up as their favorite characters, and go with the idea of a special-made cake.
