Don't you think people should have Rabbit for easter dinner?!

Question:

Don't you think people should have Rabbit for easter dinner?

makes sence to me...

Answers:
yes! I think that's a great point! Personally I'm a vegetarian, but I hate that people give more value to one species of animal over another. OBVIOUSLY i don't advocate eating domesticated PETS, but when people get all up in arms about eating animals that are CUTE, etc. If you are going to eat cows, there is nothing wrong with eating a rabbit!

nah...probably all tired and muscles too stringy from all that hoppin....

Sure why not, rabbit can be quite delicious when prepared the right way. And if one is truly religious and wishes to celebrate Easter in the Christian sense of the word... the rabbit, i.e. Easter Bunny, eggs, and all that are pagan additives to the celebration. Not Christian beliefs at all. They are not based on Christ's speech about how to celebrate, if one wishes to consult the Bible.

Like you spelling. Personally, I do not want to eat the Easter Bunny for Easter but technically nothing is wrong with Lapin for dinner (Lapin is French for rabbit and the French eat rabbit a lot because it does taste like chicken)

yes!!! I i enjoy the sick irony in that! Anyway..we do eat pumpkin pie in the fall right?

not the Easter Bunny!!!

sure, makes sense....i'm getting tired of ham

??Here comes Peter Cotton Tail heading down The Digestion trail. Hippidy Hoppidy Peter's lost his Day??

that's a hopping good idea, tastes like chicken plus you can make a jacket out of the fur!

sure, it goes along with the concept that rabbits lay eggs!

Sure why not-as long as it's not the "Easter Bunny" lol. Don't see why not it taste good-personally I like it cooked over an open fire outside while camping but not many people camp on Easter. Actually now that I think about it, I have never had it any other way. Besides I'm sick of the traditional food that everyone serves on holiday dinners. We need to spice things up and change alittle tradition and start new ones.

Rabbit is really good and that is a great idea. Maybe I will try that next year.

well, if there's little kids involved it might get ugly when you tell them what's for dinner.
