Question:

What is a good birthday party idea for a 12 year old?

i am trying to find ideas for my sister. does anyone have anything good?

Answers:
A make-over party complete with spa bathrobes, pedicures, manicures and hair.

Make your own pizza party with slumber bags, popcorn and a semi-scary movie.

slumber party with all her friends

I went roller skating. You can request songs, get a deal with free soda all night, fun and not trashing your place.

Bowling.
Take them to the movies and a cake after.
Sleep over with games and make up.

Of course, pirates are in, pirate-princesses too.
MAC cosmetics has launched their Barbie makeup promotion this spring - and they are shocked it was huge!!
You could have a makeover party and add that Barbie touch to it. Barbie is a fashiion icon, not just a doll.

yahoo answers isn't a perfect place to ask. But the question is, what is her favorites? try finding what she likes and make the party a surprise.

I'm with Camille, a makeover party, done by someone who knows the proper way to show these young girls how to put on makeup. Pizza, movies and a sleepover is always a hit, maybe some fun board games too. Good luck

Well, at 12 she probably has an idea of what she likes and doesn't like. Why not let her plan it?

Children at the age of 12 should plan their own birthday party because they are big enough to do something sensible.

I know a lot of girls that age are into fashion and make-up, but I'm not a fan of encouraging girls to focus just on how they look. Instead, why not do something fun?

- A pool or beach party with lots of blow-up toys to climb on/race/lounge about on
- Hike to a scenic spot for a picnic
- Paintball or lasertag can be exciting
- Ice-skating, roller-skating or hire roller-blades
- A backyard camp-out with toasted marshmallows, scary stories and make up funny "zodiac" signs in the stars

Hope your sister has a great time : )

inviting all your friends and having a sleepover

It really depends on what she likes. Throw a sleepover with her close friends, rent out the local pool, skate rink, bowling alley, or other game place for the day, take the group to the movies, or maybe even contact a place like Ponies-R-Us . a skating party, a dance party, or take them to have their nails done,An Ice Skating Party,A Roller skating party,A craft party at a craft store. Or a pottery store where they paint pottery. A bead store for jewelry making. Of course food has to be included in any of these.
A movie and dinner out for maybe 4 or 6 girls.A dress up luncheon for 4 or so and a play (if you have a theater in town and an appropriate show).Theme parks .
I hope one of these give you an idea.

Have a spa themed sleep over...the girls can do their nails, put on face masks (you can even find homemade ones online), put tea bags or cucumbers on their eyes, deep condition their, do their toes...you can serve little finger foods.

Make a cool in any place party for her she will be happy
