Here's a recipe for ice cream without an ice cream maker!.

I've made it several times!. The ingredients are simple - so they're easy to find!.!.!.and you'll probably have most of them already in your house!

The first thing you have to do is mix up your base!.

Here’s the recipe for vanilla ice cream with some ideas for spicing it up at the end!

1 cup milk
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 1/2 - 2 tsp vanilla extract

After you’ve mixed the ingredients together, put this mixture in the fridge for 1 hour then transfer to the freezer for 30 min!.

Beat with an electric mixer!. Freeze for 40 min then beat again!. Continue freezing for 40 min and then beating - do this cycle 3 times!. Then you can allow it to harden up by itself!.
If you don't have an ice cream maker - it's important to beat it to allow air into the ice cream mixture to make it soft!. The beating also prevents ice crystals from forming!

You can spice up this recipe by adding fun mix-ins like crumbled Oreos for Cookies and Cream or Chocolate Chips and Cookie Dough Balls for Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream!.
