Hollywood party???!

Question:

Hollywood party???

My daughter is having a Hollywood party and i need some ideas on how to make hollywood invitations (please be creative) and some favors to put in the goodie bags!!!! BE CREATIVE PLEASE!!!!!! Thanks soooo much for the answers!!!!

Answers:
Well... for the invitaions, you could make little film reels or even directors chairs and write the kids names on hte back of them. As far as favprs are concerned... hmm.. sunglasses. and it may sound funny but everyone loves sunglasses, theyre fun and so BIG in hollywood...

good luck and have fun... make it a costume party even... have the kids dress [not skanky like paris hilton] up like a celeb... sounds like fun! :)

What a cute idea!!!

For the invite, write down the event details on a white paper with the hollywood block logo at the top. Glue this onto a black cardboard and insert it into the black envelope. Place a silver or gold seal on the back. On the front, cut out a red star and glue it on the envelope and write the guest's name in either black or gold pen. Outline the star in gold pen (like the stars in hollywood) Think of it as an "exclusive" invitation. :)

Party favors... That's a hard one. Take a look at this site: http://themepartiesnmore.makesparties.co... They've actually got some great ideas! I really like the hats, boas, and crystal ball necklace. This link http://themepartiesnmore.makesparties.co... has some cool noisemakers too.

Hope this helps!

Hollywood Party invitation ideas

Obtain a picture of the actual "Hollywood" sign either from the Internet or live, and use that as the front page of your invitation. This will intrigue your guests as they open the invite to learn more about what is inside!

Film reels, directors chairs, and the words, "Ready - places everyone - party!" will quickly send the message of your Hollywood Party to guests!get some small film reel cans (empty) and a blank film roll (the ones used for movies) so type out all the details and cut them into strips and glue on a length of film. Details as follows: "Now Playing: Join us for a night of Glitter, Glamour and Glitz some thinh like that.

Movie ideas - such as Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant, or even Marilyn Monroe and Greta Garbo - can put your party-goers in the mood for a night of classic movies, food, and fun!

Decoration Ideas:
Depending on the theme of your party, you will want to decorate accordingly. Some great decorating tips include:

Purchase very large metallic stars and paint them gold. Using permanent marker, write the names of your guests on each, and secure to your sidewalk leading to the front door. This will start the party off right, as the guests walk along the "walk of the stars", knowing they are the starts of the party!

Turn your garage or basement into a movie theatre or stage. Decorate with posters of movies of all types (classic or more modern), and if possible, hang a burgundy red curtain along the back wall. To create a stage, simply put together a large platform that will hold people. Materials and ideas for this can be found at either www.homedepot.com or www.lowes.com. Seats can be as simple as "bring your own" lawn chairs or moving your own sofas, lazy boys, and even bean bag chairs so your guests enjoy the entertainment in comfort!

Roll out the red carpet at the front door, and have pseudo "paparazzi" taking pictures and badgering the guests with questions. Using a digital camera might enable you to have an after party website that guests can visit to remember the fun of the event.

How old is your daughter? If she's 13+ I'm sure shes a fan of Lindsey Lohan, Nicole Richie, etc.

Go to Charlotte Russe....they have the HUGE designer knock-off sunglasses super cheap that I'm sure those girls will use. Other gift bag ideas....travel size bottles of self-tanner/bronzer, lipgloss, cute earrings(they have those cheap at Charlotte Russe as well), etc. Take a quick peak at any of her magazines and see any products featured and try to find a cheap alternative. Instead of just the cellophane goody bags....buy the paper gift bags that are about 8''x10''...you can buy a pack of them cheap at Michaels or a similar craft store....buy some clear stickers that you can put thru the printer(buy at any office supply store)....go online and copy and paste a logo for Fred Segal or Lisa Kline, etc. and put those on the bags to make them look like they shopped in LA! (those are popular stores in LA)

Have a "VIP club" party! Rearrange your furniture to make some cozy seating groups and dim the lights. Make the center area a dance floor and serve a cute non-alcoholic signature drink and name it after your daughter.

I would make the invites a "club opening" with special guest 'your daughters name". Just use a flat piece of cardstock(maybe in her favorite color?...you can get matte finish or even a pearlized finish) and have the type aligned all the way to the left(looks awesome) and no caps(looks stylized). Easy to type, easy to print, just stuff and mail.

Example..

VIP pass

club jenna grand opening(large font)
with special guest brooke smith

4.13.07
7pm-until

123 main street
rsvp 111.111.1111

An even more fun idea. have the entrance to your house lit up like the opening to a club and as they show up have parents/family friends act as paparatzi shouting their names and taking a bunch of photos! The pics can be a favor as well...maybe put a cheap flashy frame in their goody bag!

Good Luck!

EDIT-Have them come as their favorite young celebrity! Ashlee Simpson, Mischa Barton, etc.
