Question:

Whats a good movie to show at a 13 year old birthday party?

Answers:
HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL! Or some scary movie to scare the wits outta ya friends!

well it depends what movie they want to see

Blades of glory maybe? I haven't seen it,

Cars

Mrs. Doughtfire
Drop Dead Fred
Dumb And Dummer

The adventures of Benji. This was a really cute movie. Benji is a little dog who rescues lion cubs in the wilderness.

Requiem for a Dream
A Clockwork Orange
Party Monster
Bambi

Glengarry Glen Ross.....oh wait, they probably wouldn't get it.

Goonies is timeless!!!

depends. Is it for a girl or a boy?

if for a girl show 13 going on 30

if for a boy show Teenage mutant ninja turtles

Something G otherwise you might have an upset parent that doesn't let their child watch movies or even TV
I would just do something else...
Or announce the movie on the invite that way parents are aware what will be showed.
But if you do show a movie, do something new that way it holds their attention. (especially if its boys)

~ The Passion Of The Christ

I just saw "happy feet" on easter, i'm 31 and I loved it LOL
It might work, I think they might get a kick out it.

High School Musical

If the party is for a girl, you can show movies like Mean Girls, Can't buy me love, Ferris Beuller's day off, Can't Hardly wait, and Empire Records.

For a boy's party, show movies like TMNT, Ferris Beuller's day off, or any superhero movie.

Old Yeller

Pulp Fiction, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, or Eraserhead....

Actually, Napoleon Dynamite is still pretty funny, and clean enough for 8th graders. They goofy kids still like doing the movie lines. Also get some jiffy pop popcorn; the kind in the little frying pan container that you have to cook on the stovetop. It puffs up into a big aluminum ball-most kids have never seen popcorn cooked on the stovetop.

Is this a slumber party? I don't recommend scary horror movies. Still freaks some kids out. Plan a few games with little prizes like silly putty or flarp (those plastic containers of goo you squeeze to make fart noises). Maybe a "gross olympics" theme, like longest burp or who can make the "ugliest face". Or who can cram the most saltines into their mouth.

Enjoy the thirtenth; my daughter turns fourteen tommorow and she just wants me to drop her off at the movies to hang out "with her girlfriends...."

Pirates of the Caribbean for sure
Goonies is in the same genre
Hook for those Peter Pan fans
Scream Parts 1, 2, and 3

Major Payne

How about 13 going on 30 considering has too do with a 13 years birthday party and it is funny if it is a girls party!

Harry Potter

LITTLE MONSTERS with Fred Savage
BECAUSE OF WINN DIXIE
GHOSTBUSTERS 1 & 2
TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLE MOVIES 1-3
ROBOTS
GOONIES
OVER THE HEDGE
MONSTER HOUSE
MADAGASCAR
THE ANT BULLY
AQUAMARINE
GARFIELD 1&2
HAPPY FEET
the new CHARLOTTE'S WEB MOVIE

If it's girls - Girls Just Want To Have Fun is a classic that kids that age usually enjoy. The clothes and dancing are fun to laugh at now too cause they're so 80s but the plot is still good.

pirates of the caribbean
boys love it for the pirate stuff
& girls love Jonny Depp

13 going on 30 - due to the obvious

bruce almighty

titanic

flubber

legally blonde

The Frightener. Great special effects.

The safest thing to do is ask the Birthday boy/girl in advance. You can guarantee it will need to be the latest release so don't waste time and money on something that might embarass them.

13 is the age when every decision matters with their peers, so play it safe and ask.

Shark Tale or Madagascar is quite funny, though if they don't like animation, how about Forrest Gump: its funny and appeals to boys and girls if its a mixed audience. I was shown it on my 12th birthday, and now the figures are reversed it remains my favourite film of all time!

Mean Girls or Legally Blonde

Napoleon Dynamite

wedding crashers
