Wow...throwin a party? Well good snacks could be chaat. If you want something more crunchy and simple wud be cutlets.

Ingredients
4 Potatoes
2 Onions
Capsicum
Spring Onions
Carrots
Garlic Paste
Red Chilli Powder
Garam Masala
Salt
Pudina
Green Chillies
Coriander
Raw cabbage
Bread Crums
Oil
Lemon
Cheese
Tomato sauce

Method
1. Boil the potatoes and smash them.
2. Cut the onions, spring onions, carrots and capsicum and fry them in 1tbsp of oil. Add garlic, chilli powder, garam masala and salt.
3. Now for the chutney- Gring pudina, coriander, green chillies and some lemon juice.
4. Now add the fried vegetables to the smashed potatoes and mix well.
5. Make this mixture into balls or any other shape and deep fry until brown.
6. Serve with chutney and cabbage. Garnish with cheese and sauce.
Time- 20 mins

Aloo Methi ki Tikki


Ingredients:

50 ml Oil
1 tsp Kasoori Methi
50 gms Breadcrumbs
2 tsps Cumin powder
1? tsps Cumin seeds
? tsp Turmeric powder
100 gms Onions, chopped
2 tsp Chaat Masala powder
1 tsp Green Chillies, chopped
? tsp Garam Masala powder
1 kg Potatoes, boiled and mashed
50 gms Coriander leaves, chopped
? tsp dried Fenugreek leaf powder
100 gms Fenugreek leaves, chopped
Salt according to taste


Method:
Heat oil, add cumin seeds, chopped onions and green chillies. Stir-fry till onions are translucent.
Add mashed potatoes and the rest of the ingredients. Mix well and take off heat. Rest the mixture for an hour.
Shape into round patties of 50 gm each using the palm of the hand.
Shallow-fry in hot oil to a golden colour. Pat-dry with kitchen paper to remove excess oil.
Garnish with chaat masala powder. Serve hot.

Mango Lassi-
is the perfect cooler on a hot day. You can add extra sweetness to it (if you like) with sugar or honey. If you're making it for kids and want to avoid the sugar, use unsweetened fruit juice or pulp. This recipe makes 4 glasses of lassi.
INGREDIENTS:
3 glasses of yogurt (use a glass you will serve the lassi in, to measure)
1 glass of crushed ice (measure as above)
1 glass ripe mango pieces or pulp
Sugar to taste/unsweetened fruit juice or pulp
1 tsp slivered almonds for each glass
A dollop of thick cream for each glass (optional)
PREPARATION:
Put the yogurt, mango, ice and sugar/juice/pulp in a blender and blend till smooth.
Pour out into glasses, top with a dollop of cream each and slivered almonds and serve.



Namkin Khira Lassi-
This drink is truly cooling! It is also a popular appetizer. Serve it before or with a meal. This recipes serves 3.
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups/ glasses or fresh yoghurt (should not be sour)
2 small cucumbers peeled and cut into cubes
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp finely chopped ginger
1 tsp lime juice
1 cup crushed ice
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp Chaat Masala (available at most Indian grocery stores)
Sprigs of mint to garnish
PREPARATION:
Mix all the ingredients (except the Chaat Masala and mint) and blend in a blender or food processor till smooth.
Pour into tall, chilled glasses and sprinkle with a pinch each Chaat Masala Garnish with a sprig of mint each and serve immediately.



Masala Chai-
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup water
I cup full-cream milk (you can use low-fat milk but full-cream tastes best)
3 tsps tea-leaves (use strong teas like Assam, Darjeeling, Nilgiri or Ceylon)
1"piece of dry ginger
2-3 cardamom pods split open
2 peppercorns
2 cloves
1" piece of cinnamon
1 tsp aniseed/ fennel
Sugar to taste
PREPARATION:
Grind all the spices together coarsely in a coffee grinder and set aside.
Mix the milk and water in a deep pan and bring to a boil on a high flame.
As the milk/water mixture begins to rise to a boil add the spice mixture and reduce the flame to a simmer.
When the milk/water rises to a boil again add the tea leaves, allow to rise and then turn the flame off.
Cover the tea and allow it to brew for 2 minutes.
Filter through a strainer, add sugar and enjoy!

2 make potato chat-boil some potatoes.Crush them,don't make a paste of it.add some salt,pepper,chilly powder,chopped onion & u can also add some tomato if u like.Try this,i hope u will like it.

Berries, leaves (eatable), you can put up a lot decrations and eat fruits. there is also nothing wrong with putting out cupcakes,because everyone loves cupcakes,even at a indian party!!!!

If you hadn't added in the last word "Indian" I would have said Pringles, cause "once you pop, you just can't stop" I suppose apart from that, Chinese fortune cookies are a lovely idea. Or how about breadsticks and hummus. Or warm naan bread with Garlic dipping oil?
