13 year old B-Day???!

Question:

13 year old B-Day???

I need to do a birthday party for a 13 year old and I need some ideas. If you could include details (for example themes, clothes, food, time of day, party favors, etc.) that would be great. Thanks!

I would suggest you go online to orientaltrading.com and see their different themes.
Depending on when the party is and the weather a hawaiian luau might be fun and there are tons of decorations and favors at a great price on that website.
Ask them to send you a free catalog and then look at it with your child and choose together.

let the teenager choose
Not to be mean but teens think parents are losers....

On the plus side..
They learn responsibility
And don't HATE you

you can maker them your self people like them hand made you could have a themed pary for example a hawian theme in the afternoon or evening You could have a flowered necklaces.

I'm turning 13 too, soon! haha =]
Well, my friend gave me this idea:

Rent a limosine for about 5 hours, and pick all my friends up from their houses. Then drive over to the movie theatre in Hollywood (well i live in LA..) and then go out to eat dinner!

Lots of fun. but expensive, doubt my mom is gonna let me do that! also u can just have a b-day at home, like the original!!

Theme: Camo
Clothes: Camo, Ecko, XGames
Food: http://www.recipezaar.com/86623... and http://www.recipezaar.com/9199
Time: 4:30 pm
Party Favors: Goodie Bags filled with candy and miniature gifts

You should have a marble cake and cupcakes also.
Go to a local theme park afterwards to have fun.

Happy BDay to him!!!

Race around the backyard/neighbourhood. Giving them clues along the way (good way to fill in a lot of time) making them do tasks along the way.

and why wasnt i invited?

let ur child choose

This all depends on if it's for a girl or a boy. I'll give my best shot for both.

Girl: Slumber parties were always my favorite. Invite a bunch of her close friends to the house and make sure you have all the essentials. You'll need stuff like teen chick-flicks, nail polish, maybe some press-on nails, make-up, face masks for "facials", popcorn, ice cream, pizza, etc. Obviously this would be at night. The party favors could just be little girls-night themed things like a bottle of nail polish and some make-up. The NYC line has really great prices for make-up and so does E.L.F. A good portion of their stuff is only $1.

Boy: This one is harder because I'm a girl and I don't remember any 13 year old boy birthday parties. You could do a gaming night though. Turn your day/night into a Guitar Hero tournament, Halo, or a poker night. Laser Quest is also a popular activity for kids of any age. If your child is sportier, have a sports game in the backyard. As for party favors, I kind of see 13 year old boys as "too cool" for party favors. I can't really think of anything that they would think as "cool" to give to them. Remember, not all parties need party favors.
