Food ideas for an Egyptian themed party?
Anyone have any appetizer, main course and dessert recipes or ideas? The group will be about 30 people or more and I'm looking for something I can fix for that many people without breaking the bank. (no hamburgers/hot dogs, etc...looking for food themed towards Egypt or Africa in general.)

When I was a kid I took this Ancient Egypt class over the summer and we had a "feast" at the end. I'm trying to remember what all was there, but there was definitely olives, hummus, dates, honey, this cracked wheat bread my mom baked for me to bring...
Hummus and pita chips would make a good appitizer. Anise tea to drink? Halva, dukkah, ful medames, biram ruz, etc...

Chicken or lamb kebabs, saffron rice, rosewater lemonade (rosewater is usually in the grocery store by the bottled water. Use a Tbsp per glass of lemonade.) Halva for dessert.
