BedPan with floating flowers or pedals... yellow water (use food coloring)
OR
get some magic crystals from ebay = place bedpan and fill with water and add yellow food coloring. Place flowers or flower petals on top.. not too many as you will want them to see the inside of the bedpan.

need more details but my suggestion for a centerpiece would be a nursing hat decorated with dried flowers perhaps.

for the center piece use something to do with nursing.
Menu salads, pasta dish (baked ziti, lasagna) lunch meat
fresh flower centerpiece and candles for tables. easy menu would be sliced bbq briske and potato salad. could have a fruit tray too, with yogurt dip
white candles. balloons of school colors .
