Does this sound good for my sisters upscale poolside party?!
She is having a party for the opening of her gallery and I wanted to make apps that are not too expensive but pretty and tasty:
TORTELLINI SKEWERS:
6 inch wood skewers with small seashells on the top ends (I made them)
On it I am skewering vinaigrette marinated tortellini, roast YELLOW bell peppers, cherry tomatoes and a green olives!.
PRESENTATION:
I have a very large round aluminum shallow platter/bowl!. I am going to cover it in romaine lettuce, put all the skewers circling around in layers and put large sunflower bloom in the center to match the yellow peppers!.

Raoul Dahl,children's writer did a book of ghoulish food,including pasta died with squid ink,so don't worry about the black mushrooms,set them off with white cloud ears from a Chinese supermarket!.We do a Guinness cake recipe for Halloween and the only trick or treaters that come round are the parents!.It has squirty cream on the top to look like the real thing ad is very dark chocolatey!.With sour cream it is very adult and noyone can refuse it!.It's cheap and easy to make!. and doesn't last long enough for me to comment on the longevity!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
