I was wondering if anyone knows of any websites that could help me plan my sweet sixteen. I also wanted to know if anyone has an idea of themes. ( I'm not really girly but I'm not a tomboy at all. and I love the color red. if that helps) Oh and are there any CHEAP party planners in North Carolina? Any help at all is greatly appreciated!!!!! Thanks guys
Answers:
Have a 70's party = dress will be easy as the 70's were the bells and the mid drift showing times... the guys too. (smiles)
Then have a cook out =
Sorry no= party planners make a good wage... but you could ask your favorite teacher to help.. they are people too heehee

I hope those help!
As far as themes, If you love red, make everyone wear all red...head to toe...make decorations different shades of reds, serve red velvet cake, red bull, use your imagination!!
Or you can do a Hawaiian luau, or a disco, or a 60's hippie, or a 80's, or do a south beach party, have everyone get glammed up...there are all kinds of things you can do!
Have fun with it!!
First of all, think about your overall budget and sit down with your parents to get their ideas (and possible restrictions) on what is acceptable to have and what is not. With all the hoopla about Sweet Sixteen parties this day, its hard to imagine having a really nice one with out spending a fortune and getting a BMW in the process. Which makes the planning more daunting to those who aren't exactly rolling in the dough! Red is a great idea for a color and theme....there are so many things you can do with it. Think about pairing it with a different color, such as silver or gold, possibly even black for an elegant affair. If you have enough in your budget, then perhaps you can rent a ball room at a nice hotel, or a tent for your own yard. Think miniature white lights, red and silver(or gold or black etc.) balloons, greenery, candle votives with sparkles on white linen table clothes, a dance floor, d.j., maybe a local group for some entertainment, and some great food. Have a slumber party for your best gal pals afterwards and wake up to a great breakfast in the morning.
For a red theme I would go with either, asian, mexican (like a fiesta), hollywood red carpet, maybe gerber daisies.
