Well i threw my bf a surprise bday party a few months ago..and it was my first one also...and it didnt turn out to b such a BIG surprise because of his STUPID roomates that dont understand what ''surprise party'' means!!! ANYWAYS....

i would def advise you to be careful who u tell ...if u tell stupid ppl (like my bf roomates) make sure you make SURPRISE PARTY adament and dramatic!!! i guess i figured they understand not to say nething but they didnt...so b annoying and dramatic NOT TO TELL..so they get the picture...pe and DONT leave directions of where yall r going on the computer or anywhere he could c! if you look up the number to the place dont leave the numbr or phonebook out in the open!! when he goes to the bathroom or ask him to get you something out in the car and steel his cell phone and grab as many numbers as you can out of it so u can call the frends HE likes..jus look at the outgoing incoming calls or latest text messages!!

those r jus some tips...

what i did is have all his friends and his bro meet us at an indoor paintball place! i grabbed his clothes while he was in class and told him to get dressed up to go to dinner...then when we arrived at a paintball place he was like WTF?? I HAV NO CLOTHES! then i busted out the pants and shirt and he was sooooo surprised!!

ideas on what to do...paintball... take him to his fav sports game (ex. baseball, football game)... if ur old enough u can all meet at his fav bar...

just some ideas...hope i helped in someway or another.. have fun with it though!!!

GOODLUCK!!!!

experience from a few months ago....

get together a bunch of his friends and go to a sports game. or rent out a VIP area at the club especially for him and your friends. you could also take him to a nice restaurant.

I threw a suprise party for my husband one year. It was warm, so I threw a suprise bar-b-que, and had a friend and my sister help me. I planned it for a Fri. pm, and filled 2 ice chests - one was non-alc., one had beer and wine coolers. Then I bought premade baked beans and potato salad, a cake, and some meat, and made sure we had charcoal. We had paper plates, plastic forks, etc. stashed where he wouldn't find it. I had my sister & a friend come by to start the charcoal and decorate while I took my husband shopping for something he'd have to look at or try on - I can't remember what it was, but it was for his birthday, and was a good excuse to get him out of the house so everyone could show up before we returned. My sister decorated the backyard with signs, balloons, etc., inc. crime scene tape that said "Caution - Party Zone". He had no idea. I think if I were going to do it again, I'd do it as a suprise birthday picnic theme, and order a large amount of fried chicken with sides from our local grocery store (WalMart does a 50 piece dinner for $30.00 with 2 sides and rolls, and it's pretty good), and a cake, and leave it at that. It's the element of suprise - you can even do a suprise potluck dinner party, or just a cake w/punch and coffee. Be sure you have a camera, and give it to a friend to take a pic. of him when he first sees what you've done. Have fun!

Wouldn't you rather do something together - just the two of you? What if you have a private surprise party. You can decorate the place, have the food prepared and be dressed in something he gets to unwrap. (You can go shopping at Victoria's Secret or any Lingere shop for something special!)

If you are old enough, have a bottle of champagne ready and when he comes over, open the door in the outfit, hand him a glass of champagne and do what ever else sounds intriguing.
Sometimes private parties can be more fun that a bunch of people to clean up after...

Surprise parties are more fun if you go out somewhere. Go out to a restaurant for dinner and then go to some fun local spot. Make sure you don't invite too many people though. If your boyfriend is truly surprised, he'll be overwhelmed by that. You don't need to add a ton of people to shock him even more.

For a tip, make sure all information regarding the party is done on the phone or email, never in person. I have caught surprise parties one too many times because whoever was planning it wasn't careful enough. If you only use phones and email, that eliminates the risk of him getting suspicious when he sees you talking to his guy friends you never talk to.

Good luck!

My husband took me to a comedy club. I thought just the two of us were going, when I got there, he had a private room decorated with 60 people waiting to yell SURPRISE.. I was so touched he went to all that trouble, that I gave him one too. I planned a poker party for him, decorated accordingly and hired professional dealers, they came in their black bow ties and all... it was a hit and he loved it!

A belly dancer. No real physical contact, guaranteed to make him blush in front of all.
