Any fun ideas for a cake for a family reunion?!


Question: Any fun ideas for a cake for a family reunion!?
I want to make a cake for the reunion, but I want everyone to be like ''oohh ahh'' you know!. I have a great decorating icing, but I'd definitely not like to use fondant!. Any ideas!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't know if you've heard of a kid's programme called bananas in pajamas!?

But if you have you could go with that theme and have fresh bananas or dried bananas half dipped in chocolate (pajamas) to put on top of the cake or on the sides!.

When is your reunion!? If you have time ask for pictures of your family members in jammies and then get them all together and see if you can have them air brushed or stenciled on your cake!. Or you could just get different pictures of jammies and draw them on your cake!. also maybe you could make the cake look like a big bed with a comforter and pillows and put the names of your family members on the cake!. you can use butter icing if you choose to make this one!.

get a picture of the family on it and add your own icing flowers and border!.
you can also put fresh flowers on, silver nonpareil things, make the cake in a cool shape!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

creamcheese icing works with everything! ecxpecially chocolate, velvet, or carrot! you could also decorate it with mm's, thats good!. or walnuts! write something meaningful and make it special!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Why not make a sort of Family Tree on it! Design a tree with the trunk, leaves, etc!.!.!. and then write the names of family members on it! Www@FoodAQ@Com
