I'm having a "Romance Party"?!

Question:

I'm having a "Romance Party"?

For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a party that sells sexual novelties and only adult women are allowed to attend. I need some cute, inexpensive food ideas to cater to about 20-25 people. They don't have to be sexually explicit in nature...just some good ideas. Thanks.

Answers:
Olive Puffs
* 24 pimento-stuffed green olives
* 1 (17.25 ounce) package frozen puff pastry, thawed

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2. Cut pastry into strips about 6 inches long and 1/2 inch wide. Wrap a belt of pastry around each olive. Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
3. Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown

Party Pinwheels
* 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
* 1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix
* 2 green onions, minced
* 4 (12 inch) flour tortillas
* 1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced
* 1/2 cup diced celery
* 1 (2 ounce) can sliced black olives
* 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS

1. In a medium-size mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, ranch dressing mix, and green onions. Spread this mixture on each tortilla. Sprinkle red pepper, celery, black olives, and cheese (if you'd like) over the cream cheese mixture. Roll up the tortillas, then wrap them tightly in aluminum foil.
2. Chill 2 hours or overnight. Cut off ends of the rolls, and slice the chilled rolls into 1 inch slices.
*There are many different variations on this recipe, but this one is sooo tasty!

Deviled Eggs
* 6 hard-cooked eggs
* 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
* 1 teaspoon sugar
* 1 teaspoon white vinegar
* 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* Paprika

DIRECTIONS

1. Slice eggs in half lengthwise; remove yolks and set whites aside. In a small bowl, mash yolks with a fork. Add the mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, mustard and salt; mix well. Stuff or pipe into egg whites. Sprinkle with paprika. Refrigerate until serving.

Cucumber Sandwiches

* 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
* 1/2 cup mayonnaise
* 1 (.7 ounce) package dry Italian salad dressing mix
* 2 loaves French bread, cut into 1 inch slices
* 2 medium cucumbers, sliced
* 1 pinch dried dill weed

DIRECTIONS

1. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, mayonnaise and Italian dressing mix. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or preferably overnight.
2. Spread the cream cheese blend onto slices of French bread. Top with a cucumber slice, and sprinkle with dill. You can make as many or few as you like. the cream cheese mixture keeps for about a week in the refrigerator so you can make them over and over again!

Some of my favorite appetizer recipes from allrecipes.com

Chocolate fondue with cake cubes, marshmallows and fruit for dipping.

Coffee and tea...go to your local bakery and get some nice pastries. Add some fruit for garnish...strawberries, kiwi, grapes etc.
If your having wine...Get a nice array of good cheese, some good bread or cracker and add fruit to that as well.
Cocktails...You can have any array of snack type foods,
Veggies, Chips, spinach dip etc etc. Keep it light so that the food isn't the main attraction. You want the items that are being sold to hold all the attention.
Wine or cocktails can really help loosen everyone up.
Martinis are great..lots of different flavors and really neat glasses to serve them in.

Bruchetta - mini toasts w/ fresh mozzarella, basil and sliced tomoatoes
Mini quiches - make like an omelette batter with your favorite toppings and bake in mini muffin cups
Wraps sliced party size
Fruit tray w/ a chocolate fondue and a fruit dip made w/ cream cheese, whipped cream and marshmallow topping (super good)
Penis cake
Saurbraten meatballs

Well you could always do cocktail weenies. That would be funny, and fitting! Serve them with a savory dip or sauce.

I know you can find penis shaped pasta online. If you really wanted to you could make like a pasta salad with that. (Or just use some tri colored rotini)

2 cups italian salad dressing (light or regular)
1 pound pasta (such as tri colored rotini)
1 green pepper, cut into bite sized pieces
1 red bell pepper cut into bite sized pieces
1 small can black olives, sliced
Shredded or grated parmesan cheese to sprinkle on top

Boil pasta until done to your desired tenderness. Drain and rinse and allow to cool. Then mix pasta, vegetables and olives with the dressing. Dust with cheese.

Deviled eggs are easy and popular.

Stuffed mushrooms

Fruit Pizza

Fruit kabobs with fruit dip (string some fruit onto skewers and make a dip with 1 jar Marshmallow Creme and 1 8oz block cream cheese)

Just some ideas. Have a fun party!

lots of chocolate dipped bananas and strawberries
