Answers:
I have an 80s party every year and they are so much fun (#6 this September!)!.
we all dress up in 80s and I have a special prize for best dressed- everyone votes on best dressed later on into the party!. I just get a $10 80s movie like 16 Candles, Goonies, Adventures in Babysitting- whatever movie you like!. you can usually find some bargain ones to at Walmart in their $5 bins!. maybe pick up an extra one incase of a tie!. just have everyone write down their vote, toss it in a hat and tally up the votes!
then I make up a bunch of 80s trivia questions based on movies, TV shows, cartoons, toys and events that took place during that time!. you cna make up your own or else there are tons of 80s trivia games in the stores now- Trivial Persuit has a 80s one and I've seen bargain DVD trivia ones too!.
play all 80s music of course- download the good ones or else stores carry mixed cds of 80s top tunes- I bought a bunch off Ebay!.
you can have a 80s dance off- best dancing gets a special prize
play 80s charades- make up cards with different 80s stuff to act out like band names or movie titles!.
find some 80s posters of big hair bands or movies to hang up in the garage- neon balloons and streamers everywhere!.
regular food and drinks is fine for your party

Have a great time!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hit a used record store and buy all the cheapo 80s albums you can!. String ribbon through the holes in the records & hang from ceiling!. Use the sleeves to decorate the wall!.

Hit the grocery and you'll be amazed what kind of 80s style food they still carry!. Put small bowls around filled with things like Transformers and Care Bear gummies, fruit roll-ups, Hi-C pouches, etc!.

For an adult party, bonus points if you can find some Bartles & James wine coolers :)

80s music is mandatory, as is the dressing up--skinny ties, big hair, fat laces, neon, jelly bracelets, oversized shirts, leggings!.!.!.

Drag a TV in, put in in a corner, turn the sound down and have a constant stream of John Hughes movies!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Maybe 80s trivia with prizes!? It would be really fun to do like a singing bee thing where you play an 80s song and then stop it randomly and make your guests keep singing and if they get the lyrics wrong they're out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
