How many cupcakes should I prepare for this event?!

Question:

How many cupcakes should I prepare for this event?

At my work, there's going to be an awards ceremony for about 100 people, most of whom are children. I'd like to bring cupcakes, but I don't know how many to make. There are going to be other desserts besides mine (like cakes and brownies), and I'd like to see what you think is a good number of regular-sized cupcakes for me to add to the dessert table.

Thank you!

Answers:
I'd say 4 dozen is plenty. Not everyone will want one, and if they're children they will probably be limited by their parents to just one or two desserts. Plus, since they're full-size rather than mini, no one should have more than one :)

150 to 200 so if they want more than one

Since there are other desserts, I'd do about 50. Most recipes are for 12, so quardrupling the recipe should get you a fair amount without too much hassle.

Since there are going to be a variety of desserts, I would probably say around 65 to 75, the reason why? If you make to many some people might be overwhelmed, so if I was making something I would make about half or so of the amount of people since there are other desserts there! Good luck!

I agree. Since it will be mostly children and since they love cupcakes, I would go with about four dozen.

4 dozen is more than adequate
