House party ... any more ideas??
since my (16th) b-day is in june ... i don't want ppl ta not go 'cause they're on vacation so, i decided to have a party on may 25. 'cause it's on a friday and lik two days after we get out of school. um i already asked my dad and we're gonna have a small house for tha party. i'm hoping that a lot of ppl goes. there'll be dancing and tha music should be loud! i don't know wat kind of food. or drinks. maybe just cans of soda. the house we're gonna use is empty. soo i'm just wondering if i need ta do anything 'cause this needs to be perfect and a hot party. any good ideas??

I would say to get some plastic cups and some sodas ...and bottles of water for people who dont want soda. If your party's gonna last a long time...I would suggest some food too...Maybe some chips and dip. And some good tunes...have someone be your "dj" and mix up the cd's a bit...
Depends on what your friends like...maybe have a costume type party where everyone dresses in costume for a certain time in history, that would be fun. Or have a murdery mystery party where you hire a company to come and do the murdery mystery and your friends get to figure out who murdered who....sometimes you even get to be the murderer. =) You can do an online search for groups in your area. If you have a Dave and Busters they usually have a company that does birthday parties. Good luck and Happy 16th Birthday!!!

Post the rules on the door and have only one way IN/OUT.
I would make custom Napster CD's about 6 of them and make it so their is a Start Middle and End to the party.
You want to end the party, Not let it fade out. It is more dramatic that way.
I would go for "all" can sodas and waters.
Get lots of Chips, Dips and Have your girlfriends bring food to share with you. Of course you need a ROCKIN big and delicious cake.
Plan Games or Dancing events.... Honestly,, the karaoke is too funny and fun to do and watch at this kinda event.
A public spectacle is something to laugh at for years.
Happy Birthday. Be Safe.. I would plan the parking out, so not get in trouble with the neighbors (invite them) and police.
Ok on my 16th Bday My parents went and got me EVERYTHING and i mean everything we rented out a huge hotel and then we got food and drinks and we hired a dj it was off the friggin hook

You could do a kick off for summer party with a beach theme. Then you can make a little tiki bar and make non-alcholic fruity drinks (with little umbrellas!) you could hand out leis and have a limbo contest.
try foods like pizza, ice cream sundaes, sub sandwiches, nachos, virgin margaritas and daiquiris, sparkling cider, pop corn or a taco bar.
You can dress someone as a fortune teller to read the guests’ palms, and a crystal ball would be just the perfect center piece. In one room, set it up for dancing, put up a strobe light & black lights. place desposible cameras around & let guest take pics for you
