Any cute and cheap ideas for a tropical/luau theme party?

i have a graduation party taking place in my backyard in june. Any ideas! theres gonna be music, dinner served, and I want to have a bar and bartender

Answers:
Well, you can go to the dollar tree and get lots of stuff for it really cheap. You could take and put green construction paper through a shredder to make grass skirts and to put around the bar and table(attach to table cloth)

have dacaries and fruit smoothies

I just saw the cutest centerpiece idea.......take a citonella tiki torch thing on a WOODEN stake-I think you can get them everywhere this time of year-and cut the stake down very short. Stick it into a real pineapple and put it in the center of the table or tables. Then place orchid petals scattered around, or you could also use an artificial lei around it. It was really cute!!

have fruit shishcabobs and jello sishcabobs!

hope yall have fun and congradulations!!!

Go to your local Party City for fabulous luau decorations. You can also get some very inexpensive decorations at http://www.orientaltrading.com
Go to this web site and make Hawaiian name tags for your guests. http://www.alohafriendsluau.com/names.ht... The home page on this site will give you some recipes for your party.

Food network and Better Homes and Garden are excellent sites to find recipes for food and drink as well as ideas for decorating. Each dollar tree carries different things so if you can check out several. Oriental Trading has a lot of luau things. Make sure you check out the clearance section on their site. I have gotten some ideas on their site and made them cheaper myself. Hope this helps and have a great party!
