Dinner Party Ideas?!

Question:

Dinner Party Ideas?

Does anyone have any ideas for a dinner party? I am planning on having lime sherbert punch, marinated, grilled, steak strips, iced w/ sprinkles brownies, 'white trash' (sort of like chex mix, only with no flavoring and 'glued' into clusters with white chocolate), sweet potato casserole, balloons, & some streamers, but I can't think of anything else and a there's going to be a lot of mouths to feed. i am 13 and this will be my first dinner party. thanks! btw, it is going to be very informal.

You have got a great menu, so far! I would add in a big tossed salad, and some nice rolls, too!
Or if not a tossed salad, maybe a potato or macaroni one.
Otherwise I think you're doing pretty good yourself! How many people are you feeding?

Ice Cream Bowl.

you should ahve a luau theme

I wish you much success on your first dinner party. I would add

a pasta salad
sweet and sour kielbasa (b-b-q sauce and grape jelly in a crock pot).
fruit salad (all your favorite fruits....canned or fresh)

you could also get some frozen meatballs and sauce and heat it up and serve it as finger sandwiches with little rolls, also a 7 layer dip and chips, pizza rolls are another favorite for boys your age I know I have 2 and all there friends invade my kitchen for them every weekend

I would add chicken fingers,potato chips,sodas.

I think all you need to add is a big green salad w/ choice of dressings!

You may want to do a run-through of this party on your family, so you can test your recipes and timing of cooking/preparation.
