Any rainbow bright theme party ideas?!

Question:

Any rainbow bright theme party ideas?

My niece is going to be 1 and we want a rainbow bright theme but have no vision. are there any creative people out there with ideas to spare?

Answers:
Here are some rainbow ideas.

Seperate M&M's into each color and arrange on the table for everyone to see the colors, use cute tins or even cups. Same can be done with Jelly Beans. Try making cupcakes for the party and coloring them the different colors of the rainbow. Top with rainbow sprinkles. My daughter had gotten a book of Rainbow Brite paper dolls from a bookstore. That would be a cute decoration. You could do an ice cream bar with toppings with all the colors of the rainbow. Buy a helium tank to blow up your own balloons. Either group you balloons by color or make a rainbow out of each bunch.

That will be a fun party! Great idea!

i suggeat going to familyfun.com or brightideas.com-- they have great party theme ideas! good luck!!!

Get some rainbow balloons and streamers, and mabey make some cupcakes with rainbow iceing. That would be cute. Mabey you can make some sprite with food coloring in it:-)

I will break this up into a couple groups for you... invites, food, decorations, and gifts!

Invites:
Use a colorful card and put rainbow stickers on the envelope.

Food:
Rainbow cake (email me for recepie)
Rainbow salad (email for ingredients)
Sugar cookies with frosting and sprinkles :)
Bright berry sorbet instead of ice cream
Rainbow fruit kabobs
Colorful ice cubes (made with kool aid)
cupcakes

decorations:
use tons of colorful streamers!! you may want to let your little one color a picture before hand and frame it :) you can also put ribbon aroudn a trash can to make it colorful. You can use ribbon around vases and other things in the house to brighten things up! Maybe string a colorful garland around the windows :)

Gifts:
a stuffed animal with a cute rainbow bowtie, many colored chalk, and wrap with colorful paper!
