Sound fun?!

Question:

Sound fun?

Hey! I am graduating 6th grade this year, moving on to middle school, and so are my friends. I decided to throw a Graduation party, but I wanted to throw in my birthday too, cause it's like a week away. Does this sound like fun to you? Invited 45 people.

*keep in mind we are 11-12 years old*

.dress - semi-casual
.rented the town hall for the party
.dj
.dancing
.make-your-own-sandwich bar
.yearbook signing
.limbo
.pinata
.grad hats 4 everyone
.cake
.make-your-own-ice-cream-sunda... bar

whaddya think? will it cover 3 hours? any suggestions?

thanks!!

Answers:
Wow, I think it sounds awesome, but expensive. If you have the money to do it, then go ahead.
Can I come?

Sounds like fun, wish I could go.

You might want to add in a few more things, like making a dance contest, or other things. Make sure to have enough music to last through the whole thing, people don't like reruns.

I like the ice-cream idea. ;D

sounds fun, congrats!

yeah that sounds fun it you are 11-12. heck throw in a few drinks and toss out the limbo and that sounds fun for me

sounds kind of gay....
y dont u just have a dj pizza and cake keep it easy and cheap.... make it like a dress up theme or something

sounds like fun!! good luck.

sounds like a good time to me

I helped host an 8th grade "grad party " for my oldest daughter and these ideas worked well for us.If you would have a way to view it a slide show is fairly easy to put together on computers now and watching it kills some time.. Scan in pictures of everyone and set it to music. It a great way to store memories and others at the party may want a copy burned just ask them to provide a blank CD or if you can make afford to make one for all. We also made certificates for everyone. If you do an ice cream bar make sure you have enough toppings to go around. We did several for 6th - 8th grade and always seemed to run out of chocolate syrup and whipped cream. Good luck with your party and in middle school.
