Mardi gras themed party?!

Question:

Mardi gras themed party?

For my sweet 16 I'm having a Mardi Gras themed party.
I was wondering what kinds of easy, yet tasteful (and tasty) foods would be popular with my friends.
When I say easy, I mean easy to distribute and eat without to much of a mess.
Complicated cooking is my familiy's business.
:]
thanks in advance.

Answers:

Crab cakes
fried shrimp, oysters, fish
King Cake
Cajun nachoes (topped w/crawfish etoufee sauce)
Shrimp/oyster poboys

mann. . .now im really hungry

MMM FOOD!!

Chips and dip are a def. Make a mexican nacho dip with sour cream, olives, tomatoes, lettuce, beans, etc. The recipe is easy to find.
Cold pastas are always a good idea because most people like them and they're not a hot food that will get cold and gross.
Cheese and crackers, mmm.
Order out hoagies with different toppings, they're always a hit.
Pizzas are a must have.
Pretzels and dip too.
A great desert is fruit pizza, which is pretty much a cheesecake crust with icing and different sliced fruits on top. They're AMAZING!

I'm completely blanking out now, good luck with your party and don't forget the booze ;p
PS; HAPPY SWEET SIXTEEN!!

You should serve a crawfish pie. It is a great item to set out and is easy to eat while standing. A good place to look for recipes would be foodnetwork.com.
