I think it's fantastic you're doing this for your moms!! And it's her 50th too!! Sounds good and I know she'll enjoy herself and appreciate your love.
The menu sounds great, but I would consider how much time you are going to be spending in the kitchen during the party while your family/friends are celebrating your mothers birthday. I am not sure how you prepare these items, I would highly suggest that if most of it can't be prepared in advance then I would reconfigure your menu.
