From what I've been able to figure out, the Sweet Sixteen Parties that you see appear to cost in the hundreds of thousands, not to mention the vehicles that these kids get which are usually close to a hundred thousand themselves. I personally think that its a waste of money to indulge a kid like that, especially since it seems like their focus is to make everyone else feel envious and to make themselves feel like "so much more"! Not values I'd like to see in teenagers!

It all depends on what kind of party it is. If there is a performer there, it almost definitely costs more than $1,500,000. If the girl/boy gets a car, it almost definitely costs more than $1,500,000. If it's not as extravagent, which it almost never is, you might be able to get a way with less than $1,500,000, but it's not likely.
