I have a twin brother and i'm a girl and i just need ideas for my sweet 16 in July! We're not sure what to do and i dont want it to be like really really expencive like thoes sweet 16's on MTV. thanks :] i dont really want to have a dance party just something amazing! i have a really big house so that;s not a problem

Well Im glad that you dont want to be one of those spoiled bimbos on that mtv show so cudos to you. I would throw a party at your house and invite your closest friends over to celebrate it with you, order pizza and watch movie all night. Be young and enjoy it, for my sweet 16 I got a bag of socks imagine the disappointment when I asked for a sweet 16 charm necklace. Enjoy the company, and just have fun you can make it a birthday to remember without having to spend a ton of money. If you want to get a little fancy rent a limo to take you and your friends out for the day perhaps a movie and mall trip, and then go home and finish your party there. Maybe u could envite ur friends over 2 ur place, have somethin 2 eat, n play some cool games. I was at my friends birthday party 2day nd we played games 2! It was just great!!

Rent the Elms Mansion in New Orleans and have fun, but make someone else pay for it. The theme should be pink you wear a cool slim short pink dress also play 7 minutes in heaven and have fun with it ( no drinking)
Here in Texas you can find a DJ for like $200-$300.00 a night. I would rent some tables and put them in the back yard. Get some of those paper lights and hang from one end of the yard to the other. buy some plastic table cloths and get some sweet 16 signs and put them all over. Of course have a nice cake. I would make something simple like sandwiches, chips, cheese dip and tostitos, punch. The Dj will be your entertainment for the night. All the kids will like it. Why don't you have a theme party, like "Hollywood", "Mardi Gras" , "Casino"or " Hawaii".
"Hollywood " - everyone would come as if they were a celebrity. You could have a red carpet going up your walkway. You could show a film on a large projector.
"Mardi Gras" - you could have hats and beads. Serve Cajun food, have a saxophone player or something.
"Casino", this would be really cool because you would not have to worry about dancing. Give people fake chips at the door, have blackjack an poker tables. Give out prizes to the three people with the most chips.
"Hawaii" - do you have a pool? if not, you could still do this. have guests were the grass skirt, give them Laius at the door. Serve non alcoholic pina coldas and margaritas. Have a pig roast.
