Sweet 16 ideas?
I have a twin brother and i'm a girl and i just need ideas for my sweet 16 in July! We're not sure what to do and i dont want it to be like really really expencive like thoes sweet 16's on MTV. i mean thoes are just redictulous. i dont really want to have a dance party just something amazing! i have a really big house so that;s not a problem. im inviting a ton of people (boys and girls) so i want something for everyone to have fun also i dont want any games like spin the bottle or 7 min in heavan cause my parents will be chaphoroning

You could have a "Back in the Day" party. I've had those and they are really fun. Have fun outdoor games/things that you used to LOVE as a child. Slip 'n Slides are really fun and no one can resist a Moon Bounce. People were still renting them for high school graduation parties and we stayed inside it for practically the whole time! Have a water fight with water balloons and squirt guns. There's tons of different things you could do with this!
For food, I'd just go with BBQ type foods since this kind of party would most likely be held outside.
You can have a ton of fun that won't freak out your parents with just a big backyard BBQ/pool party. Serve mock frozen drinks, light tiki torches, and maybe if you have the cash get a dj or band to play for you and all your friends.
Three words: Slip and slide.
some cool ideas would be having a theme party like : hollywood glam , hawaii theme , western..just things like that. or something fun would be throwing a house party at like night time with a cool dinner menu , and hookah , and very posh teen games , and have a dj and maybe have a dance contest. things like that usually turn out really fun , and not to pricey. look at cosmo and other teen magazines for more ideas!
I suggest that you barbque, have a DJ, and have a bar with virgin sips.
A Luau theme would work for both you and your twin brother. For food you could have roasted pork, grilled chicken, fresh fruit. You could make lots of fruity mock cocktails. You could have a limbo contest, a Hula Dance contest & "sand" volleyball (if you have room in the yard).
