What does ''butter wouldn't melt'' mean??!

Question:

What does ''butter wouldn't melt'' mean??

If I am a ''butter-wouldn't elt person''.

help!!! Confused.

Answers:
It is commonly used sarcastically of someone who is acting like an innocent nice person, but is actually moved by ulterior motives, not all of them either honest or well meant.

An example could be

Don't tell me you didn't know he's my bf, butter would'nt melt in your mouth, missy.

it means that the butter is in d freezer.........go get it......

"Butter wouldn't melt" or "butter wouldn't melt in his mouth" indicates that the person described looks very innocent.

too Cold! are you?

butter wouln't melt means you never take it out from the fridge thats why it won't melt because its always stayed in the same temperature. so i i always keep myself in the right temperature, i will lose it every time when i seen your stupid answer in my question.

The saying "butter wouldn't melt in your mouth" means you are cold as ice....generally you or whoever has a cold not warm impersonal personality.

It means you put it in the pie. (reference to an old P. McCarntney song) Can't think of the name of it though)

Butter wouldn't melt means that you are so innocent that butter wouldn't melt in your mouth. 90% of the time it's used as sarcasm so then it means you look/want people to think you look innocent but your far from it.
