What alcoholic beverages should I order between 11am & 4pm....?!

Question:

What alcoholic beverages should I order between 11am & 4pm....?

i.e. in business company etc when there's no food being served (I don't drink beer or lager and I feel that short measures of spirits with a mixer are sometimes perceived as being unacceptable before about 6pm...all replies will be very gratefully received, thanks :-)

Answers:
It is quite acceptable to have a bloody mary before or around lunchtime.

A white wine spritzer is fine after lunch as is a gin & tonic or pims.

Gin & tonic or a Sherry around 4pm.

After 5pm, get the cocktails in.

If you have managed that little lot then you will proably be gibbering rubbish and can drink what you like :)

A bloody mary or a cranberry and vodka or maybe wine.

I would see what others are ordering and take your cue from them.

Spritzer, or Bloody Mary.

hennessy or grey goose

bloody mary or a mimosa

Pimms and lemonade .. its a summery, mature drink and not too harsh or strong! Serve with cucumber slice, mint, lemon, lime and a strawberry in it! :)

Just go with whatever you like.

If you show your confident ordering it and drinking it then no-one will judge you (Unless you order a triple of anything or a big blue drink full of fruit and umbrellas)

Confidence is key! There's something special about a girl who drinks Guiness though!!

a glass of white wine is always a good choice for an earlier drink. white is better than red for an earlier thing cause you dont want to walk around with purple teeth. and i agree about the cocktails...its too early for them.

mimosas are really good, they are orange juice and champagne, so...thats breakfasty..

serve no alcohol ,serve tea, alcohol is to be served after 5 you Americans...shush!

whatever you fancy... who cares what anyone thinks?
"oh dear, i do believe there's someone over there drinking rum and coke" ...yeah right!

stick with a plain orange juice & keep your wits about you.

leave every one else to drink during the day, you don't need to as well, do you?
alcohol is over-rated, should be reserved for special occasions not for business meetings.

sorry i'm teetotal & PROUD!

Stick for lemonade and tell everyone it's a spritzer ! ! !

Bloody Mary, Mimosa, Sangria, Wine, Fuzzy Navel, Mike's Hard Lemonade (or something similar), Coffee with Bailey's or Kaluah

Well, if I was having a beer, I certainly wouldn't look down on someone for drinking a gin and tonic or something similar. Now if you drank six of them then that's a different story.

You could always get your normal spirit and ask for a larger glass and lots of mix. Or wine, wine spritzers, cider, coolers.

Vodke and cranberry juice, its a breakfast drink!

Pimms and lemonade
Bucks Fizz

A tequila sunrise! They're great for brunches and whatnot. Theyre made with tequila, orange juice, and grenadine.

I like mimosas.

i would go with a glass of wine

Try a Lynchburg Lemonaid. It's an appropriate afternoon beverage, and very tastey.

A bloody Mary, mimosa, screwdriver or wine are all perceived as OK for brunch imbibing.
