Welcome and goodbye to fellow and new employee party theme!
I have to plan a welcome party for two new employees while one is being promoted to another dept!. I can't think of a theme!. This will be lunch at work, so no alcohol, and it's basically a pot luck!. I just need a theme or something!. Any ideas!? We've already done Mexican, BBQ, chilli!. And we don't have a kitchen or grill anymore, so we have to bring it prepared!. Help!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can get away with just calling it an Abdication ceremony, rather than having a theme!. For example, the out-going person can hand over to the new employees a full in-tray, or the on-call mobile phone, or the list of difficult clients, or the cube neighbour, pot plant etc etc!. So you can name the party after the main activity rather than a theme!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
