30th birthday themes......Help?!

Question:

30th birthday themes......Help?

I am trying to put together a 30th birthday for my husband. He hasn't given me any ideas as to what he wants to do. He is from England so I was thinking maybe throwing the party at a English pub, but I can't think of anything else to do. Any ideas would be appreciated.

BTW he isn't into sports and doesn't really have any hobbies, but he likes sportbikes and is an avid rider.

I think the English Pub is a great idea. You can let that be your theme and let the Pub do the work. If they serve food or appetizers you can let them do the catering and I'm sure they offer lots of English beer, drinks. If they don't offer food, you could see about bringing in fish and chips. Most Pubs offer darts and pool for activities and maybe some classic English games too. You could organize a game of cricket before heading over to the bar. As far as I can tell it's kind of like baseball. I hope this helps.

do it like a funeral, black attire and all

how about a spa overnight stay ,or a themed motel depending on where you live ,the pub idea is good really the Britt's aren't like us here in the us a good conversation in the local pub is a very good time to them ,it is for us but everyones so scared and stuff here ,unlike England where the pub is a rousing happy good time where everyone talks and interacts,,when my friend visited here he got around and talked to everybody and made so many friends in a few days and Ive lived here my whole life and didn't know those people !! its just how it is !! good luck just invite friends and have fun he will be happy !

Take him on a weekend trip to bike, or give him tickets to a motocross or something not "exactly" his "cup of tea" but somehow related. Buy him a stack of "Bike riding related " movies and stuff them in a new helmet???

Have a Mexican themed party. food is easy to do (chilli, tortillas, guacamole etc) and everyone can come dressed in ponchos.

Well if he is 30 then he is a child of the 80's! Throw a party where everyone has to dress in 80's garb! Play 80's music and dance the night away!
