Stuffed Tomatoes

8 med!. tomatoes
salt
2 (10 oz!.) pkg!. frozen chopped spinach
1 cup bread crumbs
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 green onions, chopped
2 eggs
3 tbls!. butter, melted
1/2 tsp!. thyme
1/4 tsp!. garlic salt
dash hot sauce
salt & pepper

Cut tops from tomatoes!. Large tomatoes can be halved!. Remove pulp, leaving shells intact!. Reserve pulp for other uses!. Sprinkle insides of shells with salt & invert to drain, about 15 minutes!.

Cook spinach according to package directions & drain well!. Combine spinach & remaining ingredients!. Add salt & pepper to taste!. Spoon into tomato shells & bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes!. Yields 8 - 16 servings, depending on size of tomatoes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

depends on the dish!.!.maybe some garlic bread (try a little butter; then garlic salt (optional) then a little mayo (trust me), then fresh garlic and fresh parmesean) & broil!.!.start with very good bread though!. or a steamed artichoke or or some braised mushrooms!.!.!.a bit of pasta salad might work!.!.!. or a different type of salad !.!.simple: cucumber salad with dill sauce or a mix of Napa cabbage and mandarins with a dressing of heavy cream , vinegar (dark german is best), salt & pepper!. Some risotto would be good (I have yet to get that right , lol)
Oh one more some bruschetta!.!.!. Chop up about 2 cups tomatos (I use grape or cherry-whatever you can get that is flavorful), add monzarella medallions (don't go cheap on this, get the best you can; you can cube fresh monz, too), crushed basil (fresh is better I think, but either will work), and kosher salt & fresh ground pepper to taste!.!.let this sit a while!. !.!.Slice good French bread !.!.!.!.!.brush a little ev olive oil on the bread and put under the broiler to toast, then rub a clove of garlic on each slice!. Top with the tomato mixture!. Very yummy recipe from Atropos!.
Okay, I can tell by my answer that I'm very hungry :-) and it's really too late to eat, oh well!. I think I may get an artichoke and some bruschetta going tomorrow :-)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Loaf of hot baked crusty french bread and garlic n mushroom buttered egg noodles(the wide ones) and steamed asparagus!. Oh! n cheese cake!

1/2 pound wide egg noodles
2 tablespoons butter
8 white mushrooms, sliced
1 shallot, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic
A handful fresh parsley, chopped
Salt
Cook egg noodles until just tender in boiling salted water, about 6 minutes!.
Saute sliced mushrooms, garlic and shallot in 2 tablespoons butter over moderate heat until mushrooms are tender, about 3 or 4 minutes!.
Drain noodles and toss in with cooked mushrooms!. Add the parsley and season with a little salt, to taste!. Add lil more butter ontop to melt by itself!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

2!.Potato au gratin!.
3!.Tomato sauce with brown sugar and butter over sliced bread!. Bake!.
It's like a bread pudding!.
