Hi there :) Honey bubbles are everyones fav! Well, they are here in New Zealand anyway! I don't know if you guys make them!? Some people call them rice crispie squares i think!? Anyway the recipe is!.!.!.

4 cups of puffed rice
2 Tbs Honey
3 Tbs Brown Sugar
80g Butter

- Put the puffed rice in a large bowl and set aside
- Place honey, brown sugar and butter in a small saucepan/pot and put on stove to high - bring to the boil and boil for 3 mins, stirring occasionally!. Pour over rice puffs and mix throughly - spoon into cupcake papers in a cupcake pan or into a lined sponge roll tin (if using the sponge roll tin cut just before it sets, they will set really fast! about 5-10mins so keep an eye on them!)

Super easy huh!?!

Good luck! have a great party :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

~Cheese and pineapple sticks or use cherry toms or baby pickled onions or grapes!.
~Party rings and French fancies!.
~Mini shaped cheese crackers!.
~Jelly, make it yourself with added gummy worms inside!.
~How about fairy wands!? Get big bread sticks and dip them in melted chocolate and add sprinkles then leave them to set!. Very simple to make and very yummy! You can even make different colors using white chocolate and adding food coloring to it!.

Hope this helps!

P!.S - I think those honey bubbles sound like a good idea! I'm gonna try them myself!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

-Strawberries and marshmallows threaded on pop sticks
-Homemade chicken nuggets with tomato sauce-crumb diced pieces of chicken in breadcrumbs seasoned with herbs, chick' salt and parma' cheese-spray with cooking oil and bake in the oven for about 20 mins!.
-yummy mix-popcorn[plain],dried fruit medley, almonds[check for allergies],m and m's and fruchocs mix together and serve in flat bottom ice cream cones!.
-chips
-traffic lights-red,green and yellow jelly layered in clear plastic cups!.
-Have a donut eating competition-hang donuts with pieces of string [one for each child] and get them to try and eat them without using their hands- one to eat the most in set time wins!.these will certainly fill them up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would do a veggie tray with carrots, broccoli, cherry tomatoes, celery and dip
cheese cubes and meat cubes
bowl of grapes, washed and ready to go
you could make mini cupcakes for dessert so its easier for the kids to walk around with!.

I wouldn't do all fattening foods as I wouldn't be happy at a party full of chips and ice cream!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Chex mix, grilled cheese sandwiches, chips and dip, sliced apples!. All of these things can be made before hand or put on the grill with the sausages!. Even the apples, with some caramel or chocolate sauce on the side!.

Just keep it cheap and simple!. Some kids are very picky and you don't want to have spent a lot of money on something that bombs!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
