I think it would be really nice to rent a convertible (maybe if he has a like a dream car like a mustang or a lexus or something) to take a long scenic drive to a vineyard to go wine tasting and enjoy the scenery. Then maybe have a picnic with his favorite foods.
Or you could suprise him with tickets to see his favorite sports team or band. The most romantic thing is really just expressing how much that person means to you and demonstrating that you have been paying attention to what they like and dislike.

has a pretty cool date planning program, but they are adding content for my state at the moment. It may be of some help if they have information for the area you live in.
It is so sweet that you are doing this for someone you care about. Good Luck!

Hire a rea proo and send him with hewr.

you should post some of his interest because guys like different things. there is one key his stomuch of course. also if it looked like you put a lot of effort into an evening together or maybe a little surprise of some sort will knock his socks off.

If you want to go all out......drive to his place and stall while awaiting for a limo to arrive (I did this one time and the guy was totally thrilled)......go out to his favorite restaurant. and out to dancing if he likes that.....end up back at his place where you have his favorite dessert awaiting with something written on the top as to how much he has meant to you.
Another added special touch is to leave a card inside his vehicle before you go home.....this adds a lot because it will remind him of the night before.....
OK if you are on a budget and cannot afford all this.....pick up some flowers and a vase....cook his favorite dinner at home with candlelight.
Good luck!

How about... making him a picnic of his favourite foods and finding somewhere peaceful and idillic... take a blanket and make sure you have plenty of time.. a bottle of wine or champagne if thats your thing... much more personal and romantic than a dinner out, plus if you make some of the dishes it makes it so much more special.
You could go somewhere thats already special to you as a couple or find a new spot that becomes your secret romantic gettaway in the future. Be in the moment and don't plan every detail, that way if things don't turn out how you invisaged your not dissapointed.
Meditate on the idea and more details will emerge...
good luck

a real romantic night certainly includes the following: 1. YOU- look pretty for him. 2. A REAL GREAT RESTAURANT-Dine at his favorite restaurant and coordinate the waiters to do something special for him, or dine at a place the both of you have never tried before but make sure its a good restaurant. 3. Prepare something personalized for him. Like create a video for him or write him a card or give him a pillow that u personally made. It would be great if that cute pillow will have both of your face and to his surprise stuffed that pillow with your messages. he would be very surprised that after the night ends when he open your card he'll know that the pillow you gave him have secret messages. 4. Treat him to a spa. Guys really love spa. i hope those ideas help

#for a `i-love-my-family` guy-treat him with the family(as in whole) and make some intrestng things..
f#or a `serious type` guy-make him happy with sumthing he lyks. go to resto w/ piano and candle dinner, then ull sing for him
#for a`happy-go-lucky` guy-hit the nice beach! and swim! make castle together
#for a `under` guy-give him a sweet romantic dinner and a gift that he is really longing for
#ride n his car stop on a grass place and put a cloth ang have a picnic and watch stars and talk about things
#for an `i want to marry you` guy-give him YES! if u really love each other!*
#treat him w/ his barkada in a bar
#at the end of all of it.. give him the sweetest muahhh! kiss of his life
(not all i ve said are in nyt tym)

Make him the foods he loved to eat as a kid. Ask his mother which foods did she make for him, then get her recipes.

I LIKE THE IDEA OF RENTING A DREAM CAR (IF IT'S AFFORDABLE). dON'T TELL HIM WHERE YOUR HEADED, IT'S A SUPRISE! BOOK A ROMANTIC PLACE FOR THE WEEKEND. IF YOU LIVE ANYWHERE NEAR THE OCEAN, PLACE A TRIP WHERE THE OCEAN IS VISIBLE. BRING CANDLES FOR YOUR ROOM AND A COUPLE OF WINE GLASSES. PACK FOR YOU AND YOUR SWEETHEART TOO SINCE HE HAS NO IDEA WHERE HE'S HEADING. IN A PICNIC BASKET PACK GOOD WINE, PATE', CHEESE AND A BAGUETTE, A NICE BLANKET TOO. HAVE A ROMANTIC PICNIC IN A SECLUDED AREA OF THE BEACH AND RELAX AS THE WAVES ROLL IN UPON THE SHORE. NEXT GO FOR A LONG WALK ON THE BEACH AND TALK AND DREAM ABOUT YOUR FUTURE. WHEN YOU GET TIRED OUT, HEAD BACK TO THE HOTEL, HAVE A SNACK, PERHAPS FRESH STRAWBERRIES AND CREAM OR JUST A FEW PIECES OF INCREDIBLE CHOCOLATE. NEXT SHOWER AND CRAWL INTO BED FOR A NAP, THE DAY HAS JUST BEGUN AND YOU HAVE A LOT OF LIVING TO DO TONITE. WHEN YOU WAKE IT'S TIME TO DRESS FOR A NIGHT ON THE TOWN. CHECK AHEAD FOR PLACES TO DANCE OR JUST THE NICEST RESTAURANT TO DINE IN, PERHAPS GO TO A THEATRE. ENJOY EVERY MINUTE YOU SPEND TOGETHER AND END YOUR NIGHT TOGETHER, SIPPING WINE AND HEARING THE SURF FROM YOUR PRIVATE, ROMANTIC ROOM. SOUNDS SO GOOD I THINK I'LL DO IT MYSELF.

Cook him a truly splendid dinner - this is one of the great ways of showing that you really care - and enjoying yourself at the same time!

How about a nice romantic getaway to a B&B or a day spa where both of you can enjoy massages, facials, the whole works.

ok..first of all ..guys do romantic things for girls because girls love it of course ..but they don't care if they receive the same treatment in that way ..since you've been with him for over 4 years ..try not to do corny ..no simple walks on the beach ..no romantic expensive dinner ..you're not trying to impress the guy cause he's not going anywhere ..you've been with him for 4 years !! instead of trying to woo him ..you can bring back the fire by simply doing something fun and crazy with him ..you guys probably already know you enjoy each other's company ..so it doesn't matter what you do but just show him a good time ..FIRST ..wear something hot!! you'll feel confident and he'll feel like the most luckiest person in the world!! SECOND ..take him to a happening spot ..like a trendy bar or an outdoors mall or a downtown area ..there you can have a couple drinks ..laugh a bit ..enjoy the atmosphere ..THIRD ..then take him to see some entertainment ..a comedy club or a dance club or a place where you both can listen and enjoy your favorite music ..you guys will have soo much fun running around like little kids that you'll remember the night as one the best times of your life!

My husband and I have been married for a year and a half. For our 1st anniversary, I bought several bags of hershey Kisses and I made a list of 365 things about him that I Loved, I took small round labels and put a reason on each kiss. One for everyday of the year. Then I bought him a hard bound book with blank lined pages, and I wrote several pages about our relationship and other things that our family may like to know years and years from now.

For our 1st Valentine's together I took tulle and I pinned it to the ceiling above our bed like a canopy looking bed. Then I took rose petals and sprinkled them in the droopy parts of the tulle. Then I took tea lights and lit them ALL over the room....it was very romantic...
