Sweet 16th birthday party..!

Question: Sweet 16th birthday party!.!.
My sister is having a sweet 16th house party!.!.
But i think when sandwiches and savoury things are made they don't get eaten!
So I came up with an idea of just having loads of sweets and a chocolate fountain!.!. etc

Has anyone got any ideas what I should do!?
I think when your 16 you don't want to be eating sausage rolls and things!.

Any suggestions please!?
I want it to look quite professional and not tacky!.
What kind of sweets or type of food do you prefer at a party!.

(Bear in mind she is also having a BBQ earlier on in the day)

I would be very grateful for ideas :)
Thanks xxxWww@FoodAQ@Com

What about ice cream splits or sundae

Fruit - bananas, strawberries, dice pineapples, orange slices!.!.!.
Cookies crumbles - chocolate chip, oreos, peanut butter!.!.!.
Candy crumbles - snickers, snow caps, rocky roads!.!.!.
Soda for float - 7 up, root beer, orange!.

To make it look professional have at least two or three nice table cloths (from the dollar store is fine) cover the table with one cloth than stack some boxes (about the same size as the bowls or dishes of the toppings) on top of the table they use the other two to cover the boxes, they can drape over the boxes, place the Ice cream in nice plastic bowls around the table, place the candy and cookie topping on the boxes!.

For the sandwiches - cut them in quarters then put a party tooth pick through them, I like getting a 4 in!. tooth pick than you can stack to quarters pieces on the stick!. You can do this for your sausages too, than you won't need the rolls, just some dipping sauces!.

Have a fun party!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

chocolate fondue is all ways fun, yet classy!. also build your own sundaes are a great idea for that age group and there fun to do!. AND you can never go wrong with a big bowl of chips and dip, candy, and party mix!.

best of luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com
