Ideas for a r.o.m.a.n.t.i.c. dinner for 2?!

Question:

Ideas for a r.o.m.a.n.t.i.c. dinner for 2?

So, my sister's husband will be home in like 8 days for a 2 wk visit from his tour in Iraq. I wanted to make them a romantic dinner one nite... I have the menu but what I need now is extra ideas for all the "lil" stuff. This is what I have so far...

Low light and music.

Fresh cut flowers with some picked off to adorn the top of the table.

Glass decor bowls with floating candles.

Personalized fortune cookies, one per person.

Im sure there is a bunch of other stuff Im missing... so if any of you had ideas out there I would very much appreciate them.

Thank you in advance!

How else are you setting the table? Tablecloth, chair slipcovers, best dinnerware and silverware, cloth napkins, charger plates...these are all great additions to a nice, romantic table! Otherwise, you certainly have the rest ready to go!
Make sure all of your special serving dishes and utensils are clean and ready to go, too!
I love the fortune cookie idea - maybe place them in their own special dish or plate.
I would make sure that the phone is turned off, or moved to another room, and make them check their cell phones at the door!
Do they drink? A bottle of wine or champagne in an ice bucket would be nice, or even do a bottle of sparkling white grape juice!
This is really a sweet idea - it is nice that you are doing all of this for them! If I think of anything else, I will come back and add it!
Oh, make sure you have a camera so you can snap a couple of pictures for them to remember the occasion.
Bless you and good luck!

Incense, chocolate dipped strawbwerries, bottle of Martin Weyrich Muscatto Allegro (about $12, but its GOOD). Make sure phones ae turned off/unplugged.

Low lights... wear little clothing... make dark foods like steak, peas, all dark colors. wear a skirt!

LMAO @ Cheffy!!!

Anyway, an outdoor evening picnic is always great, a small fire, blanket, wine, cheese, bread, a chicken or tuna salad with the the crickets making music and the stars for candles.

A nice bottle of champagne. Silk sheets on the bed for later.

If it is for two and you do it that makes three. Hmmmmmm
Why not give them a gift card and let the two of them make their own .

Neutrogena massage oil, naughty games & videos.....& a pre-made breakfast for the next morning while they are enjoying the "afterglow"....

I suggest a cheese or chocolate fondue setting.
They can talk and share intimacy in a fun way.
Bring strawberries, good cookies, passion fruits, cracker varieties and and anything else that goes well with these hot delicacies.
Very nice of you.
