I made fortune cookies once for a bachelorette - A LOT of work and so not worth it - but I stuffed them with really naughty fortunes about the type of sexual experiences people would have or revenge they might get on an ex or a boss - that sort of thing - it would be hysterical if you could buy themed fortune cookies for things like weddings, retirement parties, housewarmings, etc.

The fortunes are mass produced at a paper making company, shipped to the actual cookie maker. All they do manufacture the same sayings over and over..
The flat , small pancake like dough is cooked, put on a line, it gets a piece of paper slipped in and folded.
