What do you think about an 80's party?!

Question: What do you think about an 80's party!?
Do you think it would be a good idea for a back to school party!? We had one back at the beginning of summer, and played more club style 80's remixes!. Should we go with 80's hits!?! We are all tired of having a "regular" same old same old party and thought we'd spice it up 80's style! also are there any drinks that we could re-create only non alchoholic, that were popular in the 80's!?!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Big hair, big makeup and lots of fun!. There weren't any really special drinks in the 80's!. Great mix of music is all you need!.

Make the "virgin" of any favorite drink!. Keep it simple!. Meatballs were big in the 80's and fondue was making a comeback from the 60's!. (It didn't catch on in the 80's either!.) Have a great time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

That's a tough one!. Gathering from your post, I'm guessing this is a back to high school or college type thing, yes!? Well, pretty much all of those kids are going to have completely or mostly missed the 80s!.!.!.so it wouldn't be a flashback for them at all :P Now, you do that for someone my age, who was there, saw it, loved it, got a kick out of it!.!.!.well, hell yeah!.

As for the music, you really have to go with you crowd!. My folks would be all over the darker 80's stuff, some are going to have more fun with pop, some club mixes!. You can kind of tell from what they currently listen to now--just try to find something that sounds similar!. Or, talk to the folks who are going to be attending, take a poll, and go from there ;)Www@FoodAQ@Com

that'll be a great idea, you can do 80's theme and put 80's hits, some of the drinks can be margaritas without alcohol, afterglow, evilprincess, or lemon daisy, they're not from the 80s but they are pretty good!. Hope if helps!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
